Huge Upgrade for Bright Rooms
I love this thing. It makes my Viture Luma way better. The lens shade blocks out the light really well and makes the screen look amazingly dark and immersive. Now my wife can have the lights on while she’s doing her thing, and I can still play my Steam Deck on my Viture glasses without any glare or washed-out image. It honestly makes a huge difference in bright rooms. Super simple upgrade, but totally worth it.

Tape a $20 bill to your lenses for better results.
From the product description: "...completely block out all ambient light for the ultimate daytime visual experience." An absolute lie. And how could it not be? It can't perfectly fit every face. But besides the periferal light (the sides are not nearly deep enough to make a substantial difference anyway), the part that covers the lenses is translucent. It lets light through so there is simply no blocking of ambient light. It's more like it distributes it across the lenses. The result is a streaky look with plenty of light bleed even with dimming turned all the way up on the glasses and with the shade on, I found this to be underwhelming compared to competitor's tech without additional lens darkening kit. I laughted out loud in surprise at how innefective they were when I put them on. Save your $20.
