[Employee of bestbuy] Me and my wife purchased about 4 of these cameras to use at our wedding to get “homestyle” videos during our ceremony and reception. This camera produced similar vibes to super 8 and other retro film camcorders. The quality of the image is NOT GREAT, and thats why we loved it. The built-in microphone is terrible so definitely get a shotgun mic to mount to the top. We are very excited to get this camera and hopefully we will use it to document moments for the rest of our lives.

This Vivitar Camcorder build quality is ok. Now the quality being 4k not impressive & the microphone when playing back videos sounds distorted & I really should have sent the camcorder back. But mentally I just knew to keep the Vivitar camcorder.

or if it came includes a better mic or product upgrade. lense could use some adjustments. the body is plasticy and cheap, i expect better from bestbuy. while the camera features does everything i need, i was hoping it included an app or desktop editing software product, (my seethe is never satisfied) and at the price point i paid i show it off.

This product was so special and perfect to me. I wanted to shoot some visuals for one of my music projects, and I wanted to alternate between different types of textures in the photography. The Vivitar gave me exactly what I was looking for. Very easy to use and great value for money. I loved it.

I enjoyed seeing how the videos came out for my graduation a really good choice for a camcorder. I’m glad its good quality so that I can futher take more great videos and photos. Its really easy to figure out all the buttons and love that it comes with a remote to take photos and videos from a far.

It’s a good camera for the price, the quality isn’t amazing but I honestly like the fact that it isn’t perfect, I bought it to record moments of my life to hopefully show people in the future and its night vision mode is great for that. Overall a great camera for what you pay for, would highly recommend for your teens. Theres also a flash mode which is good for being outside.

You bought a $99 4K camera...period. It has no stability controls, the picture is sub-par and the onboard audio is atrocious... but, its only $99, so you cant really expect the same quality as a higher end camera like Sony. If this is all that you can afford, thats fine. Maybe just consider using your phone though. The quality will most likely be better

Looked like camera I paid for; and did not pay much. Probably worked well. I purchased for trip to Gaza, and did not work as new memory stick showed full. Wasted purchase; mailed to my daughter upon my return.

I rarely write bad reviews but this camcorder isn’t worth it, the video sucks. your video will be so laggy and delayed. I tried watching it through the camera it’s perfect but once you connect the SD card to your phone or computer the playback is horrible. it allows me to SharePlay it works but the audio is so bad just save up and get a camera that’s worth it because this one isn’t.

Purchased to record my sons soccer games. which did not happen. Could not get the camera to accept any SD cards. Bought Multiple sd cards even ones that were recommend. The battery life is horrible as well. During the time of initial set up and trying out different SD cards the battery was almost depleted after it had been charged for 3 hours. This

Had to give at least a 1 star, should have been a 0! Total junk, never recorded and was missing the remote. The iDVR Pro is so old it's not compatible with the newer Samsung phones. Vivitar might as well just quit the business. DO NOT BUY their product!
