Purchased this Vizio 2019 M8-Series Quantum two days ago and absolutely love it! The quality of picture is the best I've experienced for home viewing. -90 Local dimming zones -UltraBright 600 -4K + Dolby Vision HDR -Quantum Color It all equates to a clear, gorgeous image on your screen. This TV was incredibly easy to set up. (Much Props to the Best Buy salesperson for explaining to me that I just cut the 2 straps off the box and pull up. I would have slit the top and made if much harder for myself!). It's the simple things, not the technical ones the mess me up! LOL. The legs can only fit on the base one way, so those were easy to attach with the enclosed screws. The Vizio guides you thru the set up, it's so fun and easy. An onscreen manual is available, but I was able to figure out the remote with trial and error pretty quickly. One thing I found interesting...there's a promotion with Sling, yet it's not one of the apps to access on the smart tv menu. Go figure. You have many options to adjust your color. It's a very easy, non complicated tv to operate. I'm so excited to have it in my living room! I feel like I'm in a movie theater sitting in the front row. lt's a wonderful entertainment experience. Really happy with this purchase! If you're looking for a 55" TV with magnificent color, sharpness and clarity, this tv clicks all those boxes.

I learned of this model on C/NET review website. The review was right. Great picture and affordable price. Then when the price dropped it was a must buy. After several weeks of enjoying our first big screen we are satisfied. Oh, at first the complaints about tv shutting off on it's own worried me. Decided that it was a lemon thingy. However our unit shut off one time and thought I had a lemon too. Then I retraced my device connections and found my Wii device was the problem. Seems the need to route Wii through my Sony receiver's RCA ports was an issue. I disconnected it and now no more unwanted shut offs. Easy reconnecting when we want to use the Wii so no biggy. I use a Harmony universal remote and it lacks Wii "handshake" ability so this could be a techy conflict Wii might want to address. Just saying.

Great picture, especially for the price! Color is vivid and the contrast is great.

My family is truly in love with our 55" 2019 M series Vizio. The picture quality is fantastic with bright vivid colors along with very effective blacks thanks to the full array led backlighting. Sound quality for a TV is pretty good and was better then I had expected. But a sound bar will give your richer sound. Mounting this TV was a total breeze thanks to Vizio having screws included in the mount holes so you don't have to play the guessing game with a bracket.

This tv exceeded my expectations. I bought it for the kids playroom and my Xbox. After adjusting the settings (which was simple) it performed great with the Xbox. I also love that it has free stuff on it. Once you connect to the WiFi you can stream shows for free with WatchFree. It’s also easy to stream Disney+ from my phone for the kids. I shopped around for ever and this Tv is easily comparable to the higher end Samsung’s for way less.

I would recommend this TV foebthe price, the picture color quality, and the many features that is available. I love my Google assistant and the ease of downloading apps. This TV comes with already installed free movies and news channels. I would definitely recommend this to my family and friends.

This 55” television replaced a 43” tv and I couldn’t be more pleased! I love watching hockey on it and all the 4K programs are unbelievable! What an upgrade for me, at a reasonable price!

A replacement Vizio 55" TV was received and installed on Thursday, July 2nd. We waited 3 week's for a replacement TV that failed within 3-days of the initial installation. Your installers, once again, performed professionally. The new TV is working fine, however, it's been only 24 hours. Please note, our purchase date should be changed to July 2nd, 2020 due to the defective unit originally installed that died 3 days after installation. We've been 3 week's without a working unit and having to watch TV in our bedroom.

The overall functionality and feature set at this price point cannot be beaten. The picture quality rival that of many higher priced brands.

This tv might have a budget price but it doesn’t have budget features and the picture is absolutely beautiful. For 2019 Vizios Quantum color tech has made its way down to the m series and it doesn’t disappoint. Whatever you’re watching wether it’s a movie, sports or gaming the picture is crisp, vivid and free of motion blur. This tv isn’t missing any features when it comes to streaming either, Air play 2 coming with an update this summer and Chromecast is already up and running and works flawlessly. You can also use Siri, Google or Alexa to control your tv also. It supports HDR10,Dolby Vision,HLG, 802.11ac dual band WiFi , and 4 hdmi inputs just to name a few features. There’s few things I’d like to see added to the menu. The ability to turn WiFi off or delete the network the tv is on. I’d like to see inputs highlighted when a device is turned on so you know which one it is. Also when changing inputs the on screen menu goes away to quickly, making it a pain sometimes to change inputs. These things aside, I could not be happier with this tv.

This tv is terrible. I’ve opened it for less than a year, 9 months now, and I have to reset it almost every other time we use it. It freezes constantly or turns on with a bright red (!) We have had so much luck with vizios in the past.

I just set this up today along with smartcast soundbar and setup was a breeze! Menu was responsive and intuitive, very easy to use! Synced with soundbar instantly and sounds great! My only problem, and unfortunately it's a big one, is that a large section of the screen has a bright spot... About 5"x5". Hard to miss and is very distracting and makes watching anything almost impossible. Sadly I'll be returning this.

This TV produces an absolutely beautiful picture. Better than anything else in this price range, and comparable to much more expensive screens. The black level performance is really top-notch, with 90 local dimming zones on a 55-inch screen, blooming is not a real factor on normal viewing situations, you will see some small sections on some menu screens or black-and-white title screens (much better than the LG nano's), and normal scene viewing is spectacular. The two "knocks" I've seen on this screen on online reviews are the total brightness, and the "Smart TV" features. For me the brightness is still really great.. this was a big step up from my old HD LCD.. really I don't know that you need it to be brighter unless you're going to use it in a room that has a lot of uncontrolled light .. The Black Levels on this screen are really the best I've seen on a LCD screen, OLED is clearly best, but not by as much as you might think, for this TV the contrast you get here is great and makes for a very striking picture. As far as the "Smart TV" features, it has what I need.. Netflix, Amazon, Vudu, Youtube ... and I can cast my phone or laptop to it.. perfect for me.. if you're really going to try to be a cord-cutter and don't want any external box (like a Amazon Fire Stick or Roku) then this may not be the TV for you.. Works great for me though, as I still use Cable, and now i don't have to have other streaming devices to use the services I use. Also, be aware, THIS model is a better TV than the "M-Series Quantum" Vizio sold at other discount stores for a lower price, this TV has higher brightness, and more local dimming zones (the cheaper model has only 16 zones vs. this tv's 90!), so if you're trying to price compare, this is really a better TV.

Loving this TV...First foray into 4k and although there are small gripes, you cannot beat this TV for the money. Wanted to wait for the h9f but couldn't hold out. Reflections aren't handles the best during the day but honestly not too distracting. Make sure you get the 8 series and NOT the 7 as this one has 600 nits and 90 local dimming zones. Smartcast is a little sluggish but not absolutely horrible. I might buy a 4k fire stick if it bothers me too much. Scaling from 720p is decent enough overall and 1080p looks just fine. 4k hdr really looks great on this TV though. There is some slight banding in gradients but not terrible and almost zero dirty screen effect. Cannot get my DirecTV to go full screen even when using stretch option so I'm still ironing out that issue. For $599, I am more than pleased for this 55 inches!!!
