I needed a large sound bar for my 60" tv and didn't want to spend $800+ for one. After all the reviews I read this was a no brainer. It sounds great and is very easy to use. Connected HDMI it works perfectly with my Vizio TV. The subwoofer fits under the couch which makes the rear speakers really easy to hookup without running miles of wires or feeling with wireless.

Was looking for an inexpensive upgrade for my sound system in the living room. Liked the thin subwoofer concept. Rear channel speakers are actually quite small with adequate sound and don't look too bad on the separate speaker stands I purchased. One issue is the molded speaker plugs for the rear speaker cables. They won't fit though the tubes of any conventional speaker stand; had to cut and reconnect. Seems like it takes a little while for the sub and rear speakers to connect to the sound bar each time the unit turns on, but so far not a big deal. Overall quite happy with the purchase

This is a great soundbar, it was however a big headache right away. I, like so many could not get the sub to pair with the soundbar. Instead of messing around scratching my head, I called Vizio support. I was on the phone for about 1 hr trying all sorts of things to get this to pair. Finally they said they would send me an all new one (2day shipping). I found out that this soundbar has alot of issues pairing, but the new ones coming out from Vizio warehouse have a new update in them that fixes that issue. I received the whole soundbar system in 2 days, with a return shipping label to send the old unit back. Reinstalled the soundbar, sub and rear speakers, turned on the sub, turned on the soundbar, hit 'pairing' and it instantly paired. --------------------------------------------BREAKDOWN---------------------- Now technical stuff: -I am running VIzio TV M70-d3 tv with this soundbar, using optical for sound. I could not run HDMI ARC because my xbox 1s is using that HDMI ARC port on TV for the HDR content. HDMI ARC TV to HDMI soundbar does sound slightly better than Optical to optical connection. -Once you figure out the remote and how to navigate it, its easy. -I am having a slight issue fixing the voice delay from TV to soundbar, both the TV and soundbar have adjustments that can be made to correct this. -You can listen in Dolby, so make sure to change that on TV remote, sounds very good. -Sub adjustments on remote, make sure to change that, bass, treb., etc. Sound quality: -For the price, this is an excellent soundbar. Mind you, its not theater gold standard, but itll give you plenty of bass and sounds you all need. Mids lack slightly - Rear speakers are not super loud, good for sports games, but for video games I hear mainly the soundbar and sub -Sub, very good and good bass, love that it fits right under the couch, it does not get muffled Install: -Im OCD and cannot stand wires, if you are like me, install may take sometime (about 3hrs if hiding everything). For basic install, a few power cords and optical/AV cords and you are up and running (15-20mins). -For detailed install, mounting brackets are not bad, however if you are not installing into studs, youll need drywall anchors. Remember, do not run power cords through walls, Electrical code violation. I did run my left/right speaker wire through wall. -I did upgrade my Left/right speaker wires to better ones for cleaner transfer of sound -I did upgrade my optical from the basic one they give you, amazon optical is a good cheap cable. -I do have everything running on a surge protector, this prevents any chance of the warranty being voided. (always read fine print of warranty) Overall this is a great soundbar, it is in my back room, approx. 13W'x 40'L with vaulted ceilings, and the sound echos throughout the house. Do your research, again, for the quality and overall experience, this knocks other brands out of the water. And if you do experience pairing issues, call vizio immediately, you have a 1yr warranty on this stuff so if they cant fix it, theyll send you a new one at no charge.
