This fan puts out more air and uses less electricity so its the ideal fan. It really move far more air than its small size would lead you to believe, its powerful and quiet even on LOW setting. Highly recommended for putting out more air than other fans its size.

Works great, quiet on the lowest setting and still moves a lot of air. On medium the noise is more noticeable and on high it’s loud honestly. But it MOVES air. Much more than you would expect from something this small.

I had to buy this little guy for work and he does a great job, and all of my coworkers enjoy him as well.

As soon as it was powered on, it made a small humming noise with no signs of life. I hit it a little and it started to spin but then the blades seemed to be hitting the sides of the fan. It wouldn't do it at a specific angle, but that's not how the fan was advertised. There is some very shady quality control going on with Vornado. Worst purchase of the year.

The Vornado 533 is small and quiet on setting one. I mainly use it to cool my amps, preamp-dac and DSP. When I want to clear out a room the loud 2 and 3 settings get the job done despite it's diminutive stature. I can't figure out why fans are made with the highest setting first on the dial and the lowest setting last. That's probably because I use the lowest setting almost exclusively. I don't ding the unit for that. It's just counter intuitive to me. Great quality, and comensurate price. I think $50 is ridiculous for a fan this size. $25 for the fan and $25 the Vornado name. Oh, well. I guess it's better that buying a $25 piece of garbage. Vornados are the best. I'll pay the premium.

Put it on my dresser. Circulates are just fine. Multiple settings. Very quiet but it does have some sound. But like a white noise effect. I sleep just fine with it on.

Small form factor packed in with alot of power. Don't let it's size fool ya, it will certainly move some air in a small/med room. On its highest setting, it is pretty loud so beware of you're gaming, don't wanna annoy the homies. This device is very easy to clean when needed, and regular maintenance is easy.

I bought this fan for my dorm room and it’s been amazing keeps the room feeling good and great for background noise and easy to store away when I leave or have to move to another building

This was a replacement for the Vornado 660 fan I have which was honestly too big for the bedroom so I decided to get this 533 model and although much smaller than the 660 it's perfect for the room I sleep in. Really circulates the air throughout the room and I was able to move the 660 to a bigger room so everything worked out. Definitely will cut cost of running central air and keep things cool. This circulates air throughout the room much differently than a traditional fan so it's much more effective. Definitely recommend

Works like it should. Nice cool breeze at night and in the daytime. I've enjoyed using it. It does what it's supposed to! Which is keep me cool and comfortable on a hot day or night.

I really like the fan as its a perfect air circulator for a 12*12 room, it is silent enough to keep in bedrooms and offices. I would have loved if the fan came with a remote control. All in all a good price for a powerful enough air circulator.

Love the fan, it quiet and is small it exceeded my expectations. I have a floor HVAC vent on my second floor. The fan pulls and gravitates warm heated air/cold-AC air it does circulate the air. I have taken it to my office and does an excellent job with circulation.

Small enough to be used ear bed at night. Quietly blowing air without much noise on low speed. Powerful on high speed. Another great product by Vornado

This small is actually super powerful for its size and kept me cool during summer especially when u have ur gaming oc on lol.

This is a small but mighty fan. On low it is super quiet but moves a lot of air. On high it moves so much air. Other then my Dyson fan, it is the best fan I have ever purchased.

Does a good job keeping my upstairs a few degrees cooler/warmer if positioned correctly. Quiet and small, no complaints about the fan at all. Price is the only reason I am not giving 5 stars, but all the fans I looked at seemed a tab expensive. If you are a pet owner this is close to the ground and will pick up a lot of that hair, pretty easy to clean though.
