I had this thing working ALL DAY and suddenly I got the constant disconnect problems the 1 star reviews talked about. In anger I rebooted it multiple times, reconnected it multiple times, I even yelled at it to no avail when I noticed something. The power cable on the camera itself had came out JUST SLIGHTLY. I also remembered in the instructions they specifically had a part showing a pic of an incorrect plug vs. a correct plug, the only difference being that it's pushed in all the way in the correct one. On a hunch I checked my plug, and sure enough it had disconnected (probably from moving it angle wise a few times throughout the day) just enough to be loose, yet still provide power to the unit to some degree. Once clicked back in all the way it stopped flashing the LINK light at me every 3 seconds and was functioning again. Unbelievable, right?

It helped us to monitor our daughter seeping in other room and was quite useful.

I purchased this during a labor day sale. Clear picture and sound, portable throughout house and outside (within range of wifi). Was able to do yard work while baby slept. Note: I did have to keep the camera plugged in for it to stay on. Still works great(2yrs since purchased)

We purchase this monitor to replace a previous monitor that our daughter smashed. :) It works well...picture is good quality. The battery doesn't last very long, and it takes a little while to boot up and connect to WIFI. Otherwise, it does what we need it to do. Good for the price.

Pros: cheap, relatively clear camera, night vision. Cons: doesn't tilt down very far. Battery on monitor doesn't last long, so you'll need to keep it plugged in.

Strongly recommend device. Easy to use it. Great screen view. Good quality

I purchased this to monitor my downstairs. Its wide screen setting monitors approximately 30 feet long by about 10 feet wide. I use night lights for some illumination at night. I researched different cameras and chose the baby monitor as there were too many negative reviews on the comparably priced others. For my purpose, this monitor works wonderfully so far. I’ve only owned about a month

I initially bought the model that does not connect to wifi. That was nice because it automatically sync to its screen. But I returned it to get this model. Overall it is a good unit, very good image quality and connectivity. I wish the receiver had better battery life and that the temperature sensor seems to read wrong. Overall good for the price

Bought this monitor last night with mixed reviews since I seen so many bad reviews on other VTech monitors. I decided to take a leap of faith since I’ve had other VTech items that I loved and I’m so glad I did! I absolutely love this monitor there isn’t a thing about it that I’ve found that I don’t like. I would highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a monitor to get this one!

After two babies and 4 video monitors, this one takes the cake! Great picture and sound and I love that it’s so big! No more holding the monitor up to your nose to see what baby is doing. I’m not a huge fan that it needs WiFi to work but honestly I think that’s what everything is going towards now and who doesn’t have WiFi anymore. The app is also really nice to so I can check on baby when they’re with a sitter. Love that!

Just wish it could hold battery longer. But all in all works great. Large monitor and it can be zoom in if the camera was placed a bit farther.

Easy to use, easy to install, has a phone app for mobile tracking the baby. It does the job, if the price fits your budget then get it! There will be cheaper options, and pricier options. Mount the camera or position it at your baby, plug in the monitor wherever works for you. Connect to WiFi and you are good to go

Simple, easy to set up. Not very good in very low light situations, but with some room lighting it offers a good picture. Software only allows one pho e to be linked to it, should be two so both parents can monitor the baby when they are out and about.

The camera is relatively easy to use. The monitor controls take a little getting use to. Sound, temperature and movement notifications work as advertised. The daytime and nigh time picture clarity is great. Has the ability to add other vtech cameras if needed. Set up is super simple. Glad we bought it.

Great camara and connection. Never had a drop in connection and has pretty good distance. Works well but doesnt have the ability to turn left or right or up and down. For price and quality its a great piece of tech.

not a bad baby monitor, had night vision, sound and plays music/melody and temperaturebut we mount this camera up high so the temp display is a little off. the not so good = only 2.4ghz wifi, the app for viewing is absolutely useless

A little quiet even in loud and takes a minute or so to connect once you turn it in but the picture is absolutely amazing even in night mode

I love the picture quality and how big the screen is! Still there’s sometimes some connectivity issues and the battery life without it been plug in is not the greatest.

This is a fantastic camera and monitor with a lot of features. Your Wi-Fi needs to be top notch or it can cause problems when connecting. It stays steady when it is on, and the App allows you to access the camera from your smartphones also.

This monitor is easy to set up. Screen is very large. Sound is great. I highly recommend this monitor.
