I really enjoyed this stylus while it worked. Mine started having issues with disconnecting from bluetooth after I'd had it for about four or five months. I could use it in one minute increments and then have to fight to reconnect it :( Aside from the problems it was very nice to use! I'm a math major and it was very useful for homework assignments. It was also very nice to draw with. I've drawn on the newer ipads with the apple pencil but liked the level of detail I could achieve with this stylus much better. I love this stylus but it could be improved if it had better durability!

Cannot use. It's broken when I got it. Buy a new one.

The product came with no AAAA battery. Where is the battery?

Inconvenienced once again! Thanks a lot Best Buy..

I got this for a third of its original price since it is GS certified refurbished. It came with all the accessories except for the AAAA battery that should've been included in the box. Instead of returning, I chose to keep it and just buy a set of batteries my self since a battery would only last me 2 to 6 months (according to their official website). One good thing about this product is its design and functionality. It pairs quickly with my Lenovo 720. Pressing the top end will bring up customizable command which I would say not too gimmicky but handy. Its shape also makes it comfortable to hold. The downside I've seen about it is that the top end is a bit clunky and off. I thought at first that I can remove it for some trick or treat inside. But it is just like that. I though it is my item's issue but display items in best buy also have the same characteristics. Also, AAAA batteries are not available in most of the stores. You either go to Best Buy or order it somewhere online. I haven't use the pen that much but it is good to have.

It paired with a Surface Pro4 but it took a few tries to get it to pair. It only works with PCs that have Windows Ink from the factory -- not all Win 10 touchscreens. It does not come with battery which is in conflict with Best Buy web site description. It looked like new with all packaging and instructions - good for refurb.

My laptop is touch screen and I enjoy writing and doodling, so I looked into getting this stylus. I'm all for a refurbished product because they're fully functional. This is a great stylus -- glides well on my screen, easy to hold, feels like I'm using an actual pen or pencil, and was easy to set up. I only took a star off because my refurbished stylus didn't come with the additional tips and I would have loved to see if I liked those textures. But overall, great stylus!

The pen is pretty universal if your device supports Windows Ink. If it's not working on a program, it's due to the program configuration so you'll need to research. I had issues with Krita and Pen Pressure sensitivity but overall the device works well with my Lenovo Yoga with Windows Ink/Sketchpad. The directions are a bit unclear for those who may have trouble understand technical terms. Overall, they don't disclose that the pen has two protocols Microsoft and Wacom AES. You can swap between protocols by holding the pen side buttons for 5 seconds. This should allow you to pair with the device. Hold the back button (like the eraser on a pencil) for 3 seconds to initiate bluetooth connectivity. Also they don't include batteries and it was written in small print that it supports AAAA. If you don't know where to get this, I bought some for $4 at Walgreens. They're essentially similar to AAA but a tad bit shorter. The pen only requires one. You'll want to put the NEGATIVE side in FIRST.

Great alternative to a surface pen for my surface pro 5. Does what I need it to do and more which is great for the price and for anyone not trying to break the bank to have a solid user experience.

Great deal on this active stylus. Works great. Great for drawing on Windows Ink enabled devices. Only two knocks for this refurbished item: 1) No battery included. Not a big deal. I had already read the other reviews so I made sure I had one on hand but they should really remove that from the description. 2) Lack of documentation. Again, not a big deal as I just went to the manufacturer's website and downloaded it but it would have been nice to include it. Overall, great price for this item. Close to 70% off of retail.

So far our stylus has worked great. It was easy to sync up with our hp envy laptop. My only complaint is that the description said it came with a battery and it did not. We couldn’t find any AAAA batteries at any stores around us and had to wait for one to be shipped.

I really love being able to have control of my design work, on my touch screen laptop. The windows ink functionality makes drawing a pleasure, on the screen. I don't think this is something EVERYONE should get though. If you just want it for clicking things on your screen, then just get a regular stylus, because this would be overkill. Note: It does use a special AAAA battery, which mine did not come with, but I bought the 'refurb' option, so a new version may come with it

Does its job and the 2 side buttons work just fine but the top button doesn't seem to work or do anything. Overall still really good though.

The stylus works great with my laptop and the price was even better. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because it indicates it comes with a battery and it did not. I went to the store and customer service did comp a new insignia 4A battery.

Several people noted the refurbished pen was missing the battery. I can confirm this is accurate. Battery is cheap so no big deal. Overall works great and the battery I purchased has lasted for several weeks so far so the pen must turn itself off on its own.

This Bamboo Ink stylus was bought refurbished and works fine. Unfortunately, it came without the promised battery. I bought one myself and all is OK. Best Buy did give me a credit back to compensate, so that's all good as well. The stylus is easy to use once it's set up to connect with my laptop and works well.

I am not a fan of "recertified" things. I am especially not a fan of "Geek Squad Recertified" things. I am really not into a used item that is used as some people use pens! With that said - this was great. The battery DID NOT work out of the box - no big deal. The price was less then HALF a new pen. It included all of the nibs as the new pen includes. It worked perfectly out of the box. So, I am surprising happy to have bought a recertified pen from Geek Squad! I would do it again! FYI - the nibs, if needed, cost about … well … $25.00. The pen, recertified and including the nibs, is, well, about $25.00. Hence, you need nibs - buy the recertified pen and have an extra pen on hand!

The pen works well and you can't tell it is refurbished. The only reason I am not giving it 5/5 is that it didn't come with a battery like the description said it would. It takes a AAAA battery which is somewhat uncommon and difficult to find in stores.

My son was super excited when this came in- until he realized it needed a special battery. There was a place for the battery in the packaging and it says online that the battery is included...it was MIA. Then, the end of the battery compartment was really bent and almost didn’t allow the battery to be put in. Lastly he says it has difficulty connecting or losing connection. Not impressed.
