A: Hello Dak, Thank you for your interest in our ProLine 3,000W Inverter (item no. 3742), in regards to your inquiry, as long as the inverter is still connected to the Battery and the Battery has enough power, it will continue to run until the Battery is out of power. Turning off your "Rig" or vehicle will turn off the alternator, so the battery is not being charged. Meaning that the inverter will be pulling power from the battery and will be able to continue running until the battery is out of power.
