Q: Dose this filter out microplastics ?
A: Test samples of the water would have to be sent to a Certified Lab. I love everything about this water filler system. It was easy to install, the price was not bad compared to other filters, the filters last a long time depending on use, it filters bacteria, viruses, and other contaminants, and most of all it taste great. No more bottled water for us. Hope this helps.
Q: Do i HAVE to use the faucet that comes with this system?
A: Hi, Thanks for your interest in our TSU product. Regarding using your own dedicated faucet You could use your own dedicated faucet with our product, but not normal faucet for tap water. There are a few things you may need to know before purchasing one: a. Your dedicated faucet should be able to connect with the outlet PE tubing of the unit, diameter 1/4". b. It should have a "Quick-Connect Fitting", as shown below: https://streamable.com/06u4rj OR, it should come with a set of accessory parts, which allows connection with the bare end of a 1/4" PE tubing. If the faucet does not meet any of those requirements, you may need to acquire corresponding adapter(s) to finish the connection (we don't carry those adapters).
