The Waykar 150-pint dehumidifier is a relatively quiet and powerful addition to our household. An area of about 1100qs/ft. It is easy to setup and runs quietly enough that we can use in the space between the living room and kitchen without being drowned out by its operation. We need to empty it every 8 hours or so since we are currently not using the gravity drain feature. I am not sure how effective the adjustable (AKA Autoswing) air vent is as we do not have anything to compare it to. That said, it really does move the air around. Using it has allowed us to adjust the thermostat up 3 to 4 degrees without noticing any change. The drop in humidity really makes a huge difference. I would definitely recommend this unit for itsvalue and potential savings.

Pro: it certainly pulls humidity out of the air. Big bucket, drain option is convenient, swing vent helps move air around, solid construction, sturdy castors. Cons: tons of very hot air barrels out of this thing. There is supposed to be three fan settings, but the lowest setting is what I would consider high. It does not maintain a 5% humidity range. It will swing 5 to 7% above or below the setting you have selected before turning on or off. To start with you can only select a 5% increment setting. Such as 45% or 50% but if set at 45% it will frequently keep running when the humidity level drops to 38% and I have to turn it off. Or the humidity level in the room will get up to 51% and it still hasn’t turned on. For these two reasons, I would definitely not buy this particular brand or not. I understand some of that range needs to be for the energy star rating, but for these two reasons I would not buy this unit again.

Got this for our damp basement a few days ago, and it managed to drop the humidity in less than 24 hours. The pump works like a charm and saves my back from hauling heavy water buckets upstairs. I love the auto-swing outlet, it moves serious air and actually gets the whole room circulating. The exhaust air does feel warm when running, but I asked customer service and they confirmed that's totally normal for the compressor. Really glad I went with this model!

I've owned several dehumidifiers over the years, and each one required a separate sump pump to handle drainage. One of the things that immediately stood out about this unit is that it has a built-in pump, which makes setup much simpler and eliminates the need for additional equipment. So far, the dehumidifier has performed exactly as expected. It has been running continuously throughout the day and has operated reliably without any interruptions or issues. It has been keeping up with the workload without missing a beat, and the built-in pump has worked seamlessly. Another positive aspect of the experience was the delivery. The product arrived on time and was ready to use right away. Overall, I'm very pleased with the purchase and the performance of the unit so far.

This product was easy to set up and has been working over a couple humid summer months in my basement. It works well, but since I have the humidity target set to 50, it runs constantly and doesn’t have the power to get to 50 and then shut off. Pump seems to work well. I hope it lasts longer than the terrible GE models I replaced for this that only lasted less than 2 years. The operation of this unit is nice and quiet.

I purchased this product for a basement bedroom and rec room area. Both rooms are much more comfortable and the noise level is so low that sleeping is not affected at all. I would recommend getting this product.

We installed this dehumidifier in the finished basement level of our home. It works perfectly to maintain the ideal humidity range.

We have been using this for a while now and it has made a major difference in the basement. It covers a large basement area keeping the humidity at about 50%. The best part is the automatic pump that can be piped the outlet of the washer allowing for a "set and forget" solution to keeping the basement dry.

Easy to use. Decreases the humidity quickly. Only issue is the hot air it expels.
