We've been very pleased with the humidifier. It's taking the humidity out of the air in our basement.

So I picked up this Waykar 80-pint dehumidifier for about $190 to clear up the musty smell in my basement, and honestly, it’s pretty solid for the price. Here’s the quick breakdown: Performance-- It works incredibly fast. It dropped my room's humidity from a sticky 75% down to a crisp 40% in less than a day. It handles massive spaces up to 5,000 square feet without breaking a sweat. Noise-- It is surprisingly quiet for a high-capacity machine. It just makes a low, gentle hum that doesn't disrupt sleep or daily conversations at all. Bells and whistles--Unboxing it was super simple, and the digital touch panel is very easy to use. The automatic air-swing function does a great job circulating dry air around the room. Water & Drainage-- 1.5 gallon water tank fills up quick if your area is damp. Pulling it out to empty can be a bit awkward because it fills right to the top, so hooking up the included 3.3-foot gravity drain hose for continuous drainage is definitely the way to go.

I replaced an old dehumidifier that was noisy with this. Works great. My basement is a lot drier, can feel a significant difference when I walk barefoot to my washing machine. It is also not loud in any way.
