Q: Does this hard drive work with the Xbox Series X?
A: Yes, this hard drive is compatible with the Xbox Series X|S. You can back up your Xbox One game library and play those games on your Xbox Series X|S.
Q: What is the storage capacity of this hard drive?
A: This hard drive has a storage capacity of 12TB, which is enough space for up to 300 games.
Q: How can I connect this hard drive to my computer?
A: The hard drive uses a USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface to connect to devices. It is also backward compatible with USB 2.0 for simple connection to your computer.
Q: Will this work with xbox series x?is it fast enough?
A: This will not play what Microsoft calls "Optimized for Series X" games (aka Series X version of games), it can only cold store them until you want to move them to your Series X internal drive or expansion card so that you don't have to redownload the game. Using this drive with Series X will allow you to play any game that the Xbox One X can play, which includes backwards compatible Original Xbox games, 360 games, Xbox One games, and Xbox One games that have One X enhancements. Your Series X will still enhance these games where it can even if playing off an external hard drive. Meaning wherever possible, you will get enhanced FPS, higher dynamic resolution, Auto HDR, faster loading times (yes will be even slightly faster than Xbox One with an HDD because of the Series X CPU). I have tested the One X version of Sekiro one Series X and got a solid 60fps off a 5400rpm drive. Meanwhile, the same scenario on One X makes it drop to the 40's in FPS.
Q: Will this work on the Xbox s series?
A: Absolutely! I have one for my series X. Will work with bothX|S. Caveat is that you’ll have to shift games back and forth between the console drive or the SSD drive in order to play the games.
Q: Will it work with a ps4 or ps5 .
A: No 8tb is the max right now
Q: Is this product compatible with Windows PCs USB ports and with Windows 10 (all versions)?
A: Yes. I use several formatted to the NTFS PC framework. This formatting is an option right out of the box.
Q: Can I use this as a back up hard drive for my iMac computer?
A: Hi, Please be informed that you can use it with an iMac as a backup hard drive. This thing is much larger than I expected... It is also louder than I expected. Initially I was going to return it but I’m glad I didn’t! I did some research and came to find out that this is an HHD drive, meaning to say it has a disc in it. Because it has a disc spinning in it, it makes noise when in use (similar to a DVD player or gaming console). I found out that currently, HHD drives are the only large drives priced at this range that are available! So, I’m willing to sacrifice my quiet space for a consistently turning disc and a light that never turns off. Realistically, the disc spinning isn’t that loud unless it is doing an update or a download. I also found out that the reason why it NEVER TURNS OFF is because I have it set to “on” when my console is on and I have my console in “Instant Power On” on my Xbox One. Meaning to say that my xbox is basically always kind of running. I found this out because I accidentally unplugged my Xbox One day, noticed that the light on the HHD was off, thought it broke, but realize the HHD was only off because my Xbox was unplugged. SOLUTION FOR HHD NEVER TURNING OFF: Turn your Xbox off of Instant Power Mode If you’re like me and want that on because you game a lot and have games that update constantly, then you get used to the light at night eventually. If it bothers you, you can just cover it up with a sticker, sometimes I cover it with two games. I hope this helps someone out there! Happy gaming!
