My WD Passport for the Mac is the best external hard drive anyone can buy for the Mac computer. It is fast, simple set up, and the ease of use which makes it perfect. I am a college student and purchasing this was an absolute no brainer. So easy! Highly recommend!

A great portable hard drive that is very easy to setup and use. After having other brands that have failed, WD is the brand most rated high.

This is a great external drive for the price! I use it to store all of my music files working out of logic pro on my Mac. No issues getting the Mac to read it and set up. Super easy. The only issue I had was on my part I didn't eject it correctly once. I still have all of my files though so nothing major happened. It just glitched out for a day and wouldn't recognize it. All I did was restart my computer. Bottom line, great drive for the price just make sure to eject correctly as with any external device!

For some photo storage on the go this is the perfect sized drive for me. The speeds are decent and the drive works great for MacBook users. I use this to back up photos while traveling.

I was looking for a trusted portable Hard Drive to transfer my digital music onto my my Aurender Music Server. The 1 terra bite was more then enough for y present needs. I liked the shape and compact design along with the color (black) The unit came with the connect cable and instructions to get started. Word of cation, the unit comes with a partition that you may need to change when you are setting it up. No biggie but still something to watch out for. Also the modest price was a purchasing factor along with the reliable name-brand recognition. I don't thing that you can go wrong with this purchase.

These WD's drives are convenient and useful for a great price. Tons of storage space, portable and durable. The USB 3.0 makes helps with moving large amounts of data back and forth, even for it not being an SSD.

I purchase WD passports to back up everything including media. I have tried other brands and have lost information, not with WD passport for MAC. No reformatting necessary, compact.
