I had the WD blues one died in just over a year the local geek squad guy suggested the reds they are more durable plus a 3 year warranty formatted them in my lantech external carrier then pulled and copied them both in the orico copy unit from the surviving mirror raid put them back in works fine I strongly advise every one that has a lot of music or photos to use a external hard drive that is set up for two or more drives and use raid in the mirror mode I would have lost over a thousand irreplaceable remixes had I’d not had a raid set up and that would be a disaster for my hobby FM radio station !
