Tried weatherX & Midland weather radio. WeatherX got way better reception in our rural area. We enjoy the flashlight feature & several ways to power it.

I bought because of the solar power option. I plugged in when I first got it and tested all the different options, emergency siren, flashlight open, Flood light option radio (am/fm) and weather channel all works. You could use batteries for this but since it has solar power option I havent put any in it. I have since used this only on solar power for flood light and radio. Works great. I did test out the crank option and it appears to work (charge light lights up)....Havent truly tested this option. There is also a USB port to charge phone. Not sure if Im using that correctly because it did not charge my phone or fire tablet...that is my only negative. Overall thought this was worth the price.

Got this for Fl Hurricane season because of all the features packed into such a small package. Havent used it yet but a lot of thought went into it. Runs on AA batteries and has internal rechargeable ones also with a hand crank. Contains a solar light and has standard FM and a weather band. Hope I wont have cause to use it but glad I have it

Wish I had this unit before my first power failure in a number of years 1st week of July 2021. I had a radio but not enough of the right size batteries. and the radio had no weather band anyway. I originally just wanted a radio with a weather band. however, I found this unit; with multiple ways to power it. An AC adaptor/charger (to charge the internal battery). a crack (Dynamo) to charge the internal battery a solar cell ... and you can use 3 AA batteries if needed. It also has bright flashlight/reading lights a thermometer and a siren. all in with the AM/FM/Weather radio, cell phone charger port. It is not heavy or bulky and fairly easy to put in a go-bag or just carry. The audio quality is good for spoken word monaural audio. but for emergency situations works well

i really love this little radio. it has all the bells and whistles i needed. the only thing that didn't work was the temperature. it always says 65F even if the weather is hot. i dont mind as long as the wind up works, it has a weather band too which i like. the solar charger holds up pretty good. its a good buy

This radio is small enough to use anywhere. It has very clear sound, and easy to use. The feature I like best is NOAA weather reports. You can hear what's going on with your weather even if you lose power. I would recommend this radio.

I bought this little radio after my move to the south. After going through my first hurricane without power, I decided that I wanted to have a radio to keep up to date on weather reports and have something to charge my phone if need be. This little radio has a lot of great features and the reception was good too. We have used it a couple of times in power outages. I would recommend and purchase again.

I recently discovered my old radio no longer worked and with predicted hurricanes where I live, decided this would be a good investment, especially since it had the cell phone charger. I had read the reviews, and decided for approx $25 I had nothing to lose and was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product. Would recommend.

I purchased this radio for my Dad who likes to have a transistor radio handy whenever the weather gets bad. This one looks nice, runs on batteries or dc. It has weather updates. You can plug you USB in and charge your phones It's got a hand crank for power as well as a solar charger and a light. My Dad loves it. Radio reception is nice and clear and has an antenna.

This gadget has a lot of features which will be useful in the event of an emergency. It is inexpensive and lightweight. It is important to have a battery operated device when the power goes out such as what we had last winter. I went through an ice storm several years ago and my battery operated am/fm radio was my only source of information. Hope I don't have to use it but nice to know I have it.

We bought this radio ahead of a projected intense hurricane season in the Atlantic. Luckily, we have not had to use it just yet; however, the quality so far seems fantastic! Signal seems great and there are several ways to power!

This was a great purchase. This radio is a must-have. Not only can you use regular batteries but it comes with built-in rechargeable batteries. This unit can be charged via the USB port or the included wall charger. Can also be charged with the built in solar panel or the hand crank.

We have set this aside for emergencies since it operates via AA batteries, it's own internal, rechargeable battery and AC current. A solar panel, flashlight, siren, and red blinking light. A real bargin.

I like the fact that it can be used without power and it has a flashlight on it although I forget about those things I never use them when I need to. The only thing I’m disappointed in is the sound quality.

Bought this weather band radio for hurricane season. Appears to charge well using solar power. In addition, it has a crank for charging. Haven't needed to use it yet but have checked out all of the features and they seem to work well.
