Finicky to set up. Added it to HomeKit. Programmed scenes. Nothing happened when the buttons were pressed. Deleted and re-added it multiple times, same outcome. Decided to try it one more time and it miraculously started working. Now it’s been rock solid. Instant response. Thread enabled. Looks 1000 times better than my old ugly Hue switch.

This WeMo stage scene controller isn't perfect, but it does what it's supposed to do and appears to do it better than the competition — and options for thread-compatible HomeKit switches are limited. PRO: * Easy to install, set up, and program * Three buttons and three programs per button (single press, double press, long press), means potentially nine functions in one switch! CON: * Only been using it for a week and the battery is at 82%! * Sometimes takes two or three presses to "wake up" and start working * Needs a stronger magnet holding the remote to the wall mount. Just takes a slight jostle to knock it off * Should include screws for wall mount. The tape only stuck for a few minutes, and it requires just the right screw heads because there's not much room

I live in an apatment currently and changing the wiring to suport switches like Lutron’s are not possible which means you have to get creative in order to get the switch feel I was looking for. After about 20 minutes of this switch being setup the Thread update came through the Home App and it has worked with minimal latency ever since. This is not perfect but I am happy with how it turned out in my situation when it is controling many scense in my apartment.
