Well, how do I start? First off, this was an excellent purchase. As an avid user of all streaming media, and having my own YouTube Channels, and editing Music Videos, I needed something at a UHD 4K level that wouldn’t drain my pockets. After days of research and comparing different Makes and Models under the $500.00 price tag, this was an excellent buy. Considering Westinghouse has been in the industry for over 130 years, and was the first company to introduce the Quick-Start TV’s. (The older tube TV’s had to warm up before being able to show a picture.) I knew this was the choice to make, and after receiving my unit, I was not disappointed. I’ve seen some reviews with negative ratings only because they’re not doing what they’re supposed to do. You don’t buy a new car without adjusting the rearview mirrors or adjusting the drivers’ seat. Same goes with high-end TV’s. You just don’t “plug and play” with factory settings. Every environment has different lighting surroundings, as well as acoustic reflections. My advice is this, adjust the Levels of your Bass and Treble in the Audio, and adjust the Brightness, and Color in the Picture to your liking. Set the Sharpness two to three notches less than the full setting. Make sure your Screen Temperature is set to Normal, not Cool or Warm. If I say any more, I’d have to charge you. Yeah, do some work. You’re investing in a product that you’re supposed to enjoy for years to come, make it worth your while.

The hardest part was finding a surface to put it on, lol. Great quality and control options, enjoy the faux 120 MHz, it blurs around subtitles though at times. Great product for the price.

The picture quality and user adjustability are excellent. I was able to set the TV up and start using it within 15 minutes.

Bought this TV as a surprise for my husband who had been wanting a bigger TV. Only have had it a few weeks but so far we love it. Great picture and it was a great price.

Good product. Easy and to install. Good picture for the price. Online purchase was difficult and we received a more expensive TV at my cost then I ordered.

So I have never been one to write reviews, but I felt the need to warn other people after the terrible experience I just had with this tv and the manufacturer. I bought this TV last December and at first it looked great with all the colors and design. 2 months later, the TV screen started going all back every now and then by itself, I thought that could have been just random. But then things got worse and the TV screen would go black, green, red and yellow and sometimes you'd see some horizontal lines. So I called Westinghouse customer service to activate my warranty for either repair or exchange. Now I must tell you that the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. They did everything to stall the process with very bad communication and nonsense requests. At the end, I even had to pay an additional $50 to recycle the TV before my warranty request was granted. Then, ay they said they didn't have a replacement in stock and they would refund the original price minus the taxes in 4 weeks or so. I will never be buying a Westinghouse TV again, I should have known better and listen to other negative reviews here. But I learned my lesson the hard way. Please do yourself a favor and don't buy this TV. You will just eventually regret it, especially if this happens to you after their one year warranty has expired. THIS IS A TIME BOMB that will go off soon or later.

I bought this TV for family to add to my bar set up in my basement. It has a great picture, and the sound is clear. The colors are very vivid, and the clarity of the screen is just great. I have a total of three Westinghouse TV's in the bar area in my basement and I love them.

I needed a very large monitor because my eyes get strained when viewing small computer fonts, so the 55" size helps tremendously along with the super clear picture. The color quality was fantastic right out of the box. And the price was unbelievably low and included free delivery. Eventually it will be wall mounted above a glass computer desk in the new computer room I'm constructing in my basement. It was also super easy to set up to watch Netflix using my WiFi connection. I'm extremely pleased with this purchase.

Nice, clean, great features, and for the price, why spend more? (especially as a basement HDTV)

We bought this TV after researching many. It was the best cheap 4k tv we could find. The image is great (with a little tweaking in the settings). The sound is very weak especially with the included apps. Our Roku through HDMI is much louder than the internal apps. We use an external sound bar and it sounds great.

We have look at many TV before we purchase this one. This TV does everything the more expensive ones do. If you want a 4K TV and don't want to pay a fortune for it then this is the one to buy

Our second Westinghouse TV just as impressive as the first at half the weight. It was a little complicated in figuring out the proper codes and sequence to connect to the internet, could have been a bit more intuitive.

Ok let’s start I got on Black Friday for about $250 I say about because I got charged tax the next day for another $22 but what ever tv came fast got buy Sunday and tv was great out the box. Easy set up plugged my HDMI’s in and picture was great 4K. Cable and Netflix looks awesome. I read some issues with the sound seeing how I have a sound bar with sub paid it no mind. However I do notice depending on your tv/cable (again I say tv/cable because it’s both the TV set and your cable settings) your sound may not be inline with the picture about 1sec off or so like a bad foreign movie. But once you play with the audio settings everything is fine for me I think it’s surround raw digital output on the tv and stereo with none dynamic range. And sound is very loud at about 22. Now the picture it’s great for regular tv like news or something slow moving but maybe it’s just me but when I watch any movie fast and furious avatar Star Wars magic school bus I notice it gets blurry not bad but you can tell. Like I can tell my wife can’t but I would go for the 120hz refresh rate if you want clear at all times again it was $250 and I wanted to see what 4K was all about so I will play with this for this year and get a new one next year. Also you can’t add apps to this smart tv no side loading anything. So again if you get under $300 not a bad buy it’s not great but good.

Overall very pleased. With the proper source, the picture is very good. Budget 4K Display, decent size, and a SMART TV. For a budget TV you will be pleased. Just be aware it does not support ARC and the back has only 2 HDMI ports. One on the side. The two in back are a tight fit, as the cable has to go to the side of the TV as where they plug into runs into the casing. So no flush straight down flow. HDMI cable will possibly slightly bend.

To be able to get a 55" TV, that is ALSO a 4K TV, that is ALSO a Smart TV... All for less than $300... WITHOUT HAVING TO CAMP OUT 3 days' prior... This deal could NOT be beat!!! Thanks, Best Buy!!! The TV was delivered and set up perfectly, all for free, as well! I ALWAYS rely on Best Buy, for this very reason... They just can't be beat, in terms of overall expertise, customer service, and unbeatable prices! Also, I love shopping online, and knowing that I will still get the best price of the Holiday Season, without having to get my sleeping bag or miss work, just to be one of the first in line.

Bought tv for 350. Good price for size and features. Only issue is no upgradable apps. What it comes with is what you get. Picture is good. The 120 hertz like feature 120 mmc creates a soap opera effect but for me it is a non issue. Does not bother me. I am happy overall. The remote for the tv is huge in my opinion but if you use a cable company that is not an issue either because you will use their remote

This TV has an incredible picture, sound is killer. This has been the easiest set up and program I've ever done. The 4K gaming is incredible. No blur or any other picture problem s when heavy gaming on line.

I got this tv as a Black Friday deal and the hour wait for checkout was worth it. Awesome picture quality...works well with my new Xbox console. Lightweight and slim.

I am very happy with this tv. The price was great for this sizable tv, beautiful picture, love that it is 4k ready. It is only a semi-smart tv, in that at least for me the only notable app that I can use is netflix, but I can easily hook up my other products that have the additional apps I need. So overall, great image, love that it is 4k ready, 3 hdmi ports is helpful, built in netflix, I'm quite happy with this tv.
