    No numbers!

    This is a very nice looking microwave, powerful & works well –EXCEPT It dies NOT have any numbers on it! If you B want 10 seconds, 39 seconds, 45 seconds, etc, there is NO way to set it. 1 or 2 minutes? Fine. 1 minute 15 seconds? Nope. It has NO NUMBERS. I would have returned it, but i’m disabled & had ti find someoneine to lift it in to the counter for me. Now i have to live with if. Not happy, but my own fault. But ive NEVER seen a microwave without numers! Until niw.

    Powerful, but that’s about all.

    High power, but rattles and is generally loud. OK for Sub$300 range. New keypad leaves much to be desired, something so powerful should offer 15 second intervals. Not stainless at all, just one small silver strip. Did not easily mount to trim kit. Cord is shorter than most. It’s annoying, but this model was all that was covered when we claimed a replacement for our higher priced brand against our awful Geek Squad warranty.

    Easy to use and powerful for a mid-size microwave.

    After intense research I discovered that you can use a countertop model in place of a built-in model. Coincidentally the model, I was replacing, turned out to be a countertop model, even though it was mounted above my oven as a built-in. The replacement model was the perfect size, and I purchased a trim kit specifically for that model and installation was a breeze for both pieces. The microwave works well with easy to understand controls. The feature buttons are handy and seem to work better than the previous model as far as cooking with pre-programmed temperatures and times.

  • Does this microwave have a child lock & if so can it be disabled because it isn't needed?

    Hello! This microwave comes with the added feature of a 2-step door opening functionality to avoid unintended access. The STOP/UNLOCK button can be used to pause/cancel the function during or after cook time. The STOP/UNLOCK button can be used for 2-step door opening: 1. Once you set the cooking time and press the START button, the Door Lock icon will appear on the display. 2. To open the microwave: ■ Press STOP/UNLOCK. ■ Press door release button. NOTE: Once you press the STOP/UNLOCK button to stop/pause any function, the Door Lock icon will disappear for 10 seconds and you will be able to press the door release button to open the door. The Door Lock icon will reappear after 10 seconds and require you to repeat steps 1 and 2 to open the door. NOTE: When the machine is powered on after plug-in, the 2-Step Door function will not be triggered. If a cooking cycle starts after the door closes, then 2 steps are required to open the door. Once the 2 steps have been used to open the door, if the door closes and no cooking power is applied, then you can open the door by just pressing the door release button. NOTE: This microwave comes with the added feature of a 2-step door opening functionality to avoid unintended access. When children do not have access to the appliance, there is a disable function if the 2-step functionality is not needed. Disable/Enable 2-step door function operation on the display: Steps to disable the 2-step door function operation: 1. After pressing the STOP/UNLOCK button for 3 seconds, “DI:_0” will show on the display. 2. After pressing the “0” button, “DI:_1” will show on the display. 3. Press the START/+30 sec button to confirm. NOTE: DI (Disable) NOTE: If you unplug the microwave, it will remember the last operation. You will not need to disable or enable the 2 step door function again. Steps to enable the 2-step door function operation: 1. After pressing the STOP/UNLOCK button for 3 seconds, “EA:_0” will show on the display. 2. After pressing the “0” button, “EA:_1” will show on the display. 3. Press the START/+30 sec button to confirm. NOTE: EA (Enable) IMPORTANT: Disabling this feature should only be done when the owner is certain and children are not present.
