This appliance is awesome. I had no idea just how large it really is in my kitchen. It fits everything. I love that my fingerprint doesnt show. The freezer is right there. I remember to take something out and dont have to go real far or dig for anything, If you leave it open too long, it will let you know that its open,

Amazing fridge! Has a lot more space than the old fridge most definitely and we really like how the ice comes out from the ice machine. There’s seriously a big difference. Highly recommend for those who want a good sized refrigerator with lots of space this one would be it! 10/10 for me.

I love the stainless steel design, I really don't care about the occasional smudges, they can be cleaned up easily. We've been enjoying the ice maker and water supply all summer. The ice maker works great, my wife and I use it frequently and it keeps up with our usage. Sometimes I've noticed it makes some noise that I don't know if it's making more ice or it's defrosting but it last just three to five minutes and I had to pay attention to hear it. It happens from time to time, I cannot even tell it's once a week. I wish the water supply can provide room temperture water but it only provide cold water which if you serve a lot in a short time it becomes less cold and when I say a lot I'm talking more than 65 floz (2L). If you only want some glasses of water you're always gonna get cold water. It has a function to "fast cool" that you can use when you just loaded it with food that you brought from the groceries store but spent too long in the car in the heat, you can activate this function and it will cool everything faster for 24 hours and then go back to normal cooling temperature. The only minor complaint I have is the tray where the ice and water is served, it can be removed but the system is very tricky, I had to look for a video online on how to do this. The problem is that the mechanism requires some force to remove it and if you want to remove it because you spilled water on the tray then you can end up spilling the water on the floor. You first have to pull it half-way towards you, it will stop, you won't be able to pull more than that. Then, from the back of the tray you have to try to pull up AND towards you at the same time to release the lock and that right there is the problem because if it has water you have to be really careful but at the same time use force. I'd really like to know the thought process of the person that designed that system for a tray since it doesn't make any sense to me because the only time you want to remove the tray is to clean something you spilled on the tray. The workaround: just clean the tray in place, don't try to remove it. Overall, it's a great refrigerator, after three months of use we love it.

Just got this awesome fridge delivered today. I switched from a side by side door fridge that I couldn’t fit a whole turkey or big items etc. The only way ID take a star away if that the fridge was delivered with a dent I didn’t see from the angle I was standing at delivery and discovered later on after cleaning trays, shelves etc. I’m sure when I contact Best Buy they’ll send a replacement as I paid for a new fridge. I’d highly recommend this fridge if U need ample storage.

All, please note that the water filter required for this product has changed. Best buy shows that you need type 4 and Whirlpool web site will also show you need type 4 if you only search for the model "WRF555SDFZ". I called Whirlpool and they told me that products shipped since November 2023 now use Type A. See photo attached to this review.

Good fridge but extremely loud. Very useful in regards to storage such as condiments and dressings.

It is beautiful and fits great in my kitchen. I also love the water dispenser and ice maker. The only issue is it is loud.

We waited over 6 months for ours and the initial impressions are very good. The black frig is pretty rare and no one in AZ had it. Seems very high quality for the price. We got the all black so we know you have to be very careful. We have a family rule not to even touch it. Besides Whirlpool only one with all black it was the only one that fit in our space. Maybe 10 years ago 68.5 was standand height which our cabinets were. The other manufacturers were 70+. Reliability yet to be determined.

This is a great fridge overall, I disposed of my old style basic whirlpool fridge that never gave up, except for the door seals that couldnt take ir anymore. Then I upgraded to this big Whirlpool that my family loves and enjoys every day. The external endless ice maker and water dispenser are our favorite feature I was worried we would run out of ice during summer time but that never happened, we are a family of 7 and that things runs day and night =)

Got this fridge as an open box deal. Excellent fridge with minor cosmetic imperfections. Awesome space for our garage fridge

the frig is spacious and keeps food well, longer than expected. The down side is the icemaker seems to clog, have to pull the ice drawer out to get it unclogged.

I'm really loving my new whirlpool fridge. Love the Ice/water size on the door and the amount of ice it produces. I love my ice. Lol. I like how you can adjust the shelves for different size items i buy. Never though i would like a bottom freezer, but i do & would never go back to a side by side. Thank you Best Buy for showing me a variety of fridges and helping me pick the best one.

This is a great refrigerator. Glad I caught it in sale! I purchased the refrigerator in May for a new home that’d weren’t moving into until July 1st. They held it and delivered it on time on July 1st.

Really is good product conservative veggie’s very fresh and fruits stain still very strong material also make real cool and make a lot of ice. I’m recommending this Whirlpool, Refrigerator to everyone. I’m happy to have one.

Very pleased with every step from walking into Best Buy, to my new Refrigerator being delivered and water line connected. Everyone was excelent.

Perfect, works great. We did a lot of looking into which fridge to get and we landed on this one. So far I’ve had it for 7 months with no issues

No complaint this far. Fit and finish is not as good as the Samsung it replaced.

We had this same model when we lived in Texas. Glad to get the same one here in California.
