Q: How do I turn on the ice maker of my freezer? I cannot locate an on off switch although there is a button i can push but can't tell whether its the control and if it is how do i tell if the ice maker is working

A: Hello Royer! Per the Use and Care Guide: To manually turn off the ice maker, press TEMP and FAST COOL at the same time and hold for 3 seconds until the “Ice Maker Off” icon lights up. When the ice maker is set to OFF, it will stop producing ice. Pressing and holding TEMP and FAST COOL again for 3 seconds turns on the ice maker and the “Ice Maker Off” icon disappears.

Q: Is this really conterdepth??? With those dimension doesn't look like it

A: No this unit is not counter-depth. It must have been labeled wrong online!

Q: Can the wheels on this be locked? Whenever I open the freezer, the whole refrigerator moves because of the wheels.

A: yes the guys which delivered my fridge they locked wheels, but it is very easy to do it, when i painted behind fridge i have to unlock and it really take few minutes.

Q: How do you take the door handles off?

A: We just removed doors to get into our entryway. Simple to disassemble and easy to reassemble. Door lined up good as new when we placed them back on.

Q: I'm getting condensation along the top seal of the freezer. I thought maybe it was from water spill when getting water out of the front of fridge. But this is not the case. All doors and freezer drawer seem closed tight

A: We had this issue at first too. Turned out it was caused by the humidity from weather. We had all windows in house open Once humid days were gone no more condensation along top of freezer. We too thought it was dripping from getting water.

Q: Just got the fridge how long will it be before ice is made an water comes out?

A: it took a few min for the water to come out. had to get the air out of the line. just hold a glass and push against it. run about a gallon thru it. as far as ice was concerned, i believe it was making ice in a few hours. we discarded all ice made in a 24 hour cycle. after that the water really tasted good. we are on well water with a water softner hooked up....water never tasted so good!

Q: can the wheels be adjusted down I only have height of 67.6 or wheels taken off

A: The height of the refrigerator will not change by adjusting the leveling legs.

This appliance is awesome. I had no idea just how large it really is in my kitchen. It fits everything. I love that my fingerprint doesnt show. The freezer is right there. I remember to take something out and dont have to go real far or dig for anything, If you leave it open too long, it will let you know that its open,

Whirlpool fridge
Amazing fridge! Has a lot more space than the old fridge most definitely and we really like how the ice comes out from the ice machine. There’s seriously a big difference. Highly recommend for those who want a good sized refrigerator with lots of space this one would be it! 10/10 for me.

It fits our needs perfectly but has minor problem
I love the stainless steel design, I really don't care about the occasional smudges, they can be cleaned up easily. We've been enjoying the ice maker and water supply all summer. The ice maker works great, my wife and I use it frequently and it keeps up with our usage. Sometimes I've noticed it makes some noise that I don't know if it's making more ice or it's defrosting but it last just three to five minutes and I had to pay attention to hear it. It happens from time to time, I cannot even tell it's once a week. I wish the water supply can provide room temperture water but it only provide cold water which if you serve a lot in a short time it becomes less cold and when I say a lot I'm talking more than 65 floz (2L). If you only want some glasses of water you're always gonna get cold water. It has a function to "fast cool" that you can use when you just loaded it with food that you brought from the groceries store but spent too long in the car in the heat, you can activate this function and it will cool everything faster for 24 hours and then go back to normal cooling temperature. The only minor complaint I have is the tray where the ice and water is served, it can be removed but the system is very tricky, I had to look for a video online on how to do this. The problem is that the mechanism requires some force to remove it and if you want to remove it because you spilled water on the tray then you can end up spilling the water on the floor. You first have to pull it half-way towards you, it will stop, you won't be able to pull more than that. Then, from the back of the tray you have to try to pull up AND towards you at the same time to release the lock and that right there is the problem because if it has water you have to be really careful but at the same time use force. I'd really like to know the thought process of the person that designed that system for a tray since it doesn't make any sense to me because the only time you want to remove the tray is to clean something you spilled on the tray. The workaround: just clean the tray in place, don't try to remove it. Overall, it's a great refrigerator, after three months of use we love it.
