Works well with a clean design. Touch controls appear bright white on website though product received came with faint gray on black markings which is not backlit, resulting in an understated but difficult to see product.

We bought this induction cooktop to replace a 27 year old electric cooktop. Induction cooking does take some getting used to. We definitely are able to cook our meals quickly. We love the Booster feature. It definitely boils water fast. This cooktop heats our pans fast. Still haven’t used all the features of this cooktop. Love the flush installation. We were able to use most our existing cookware. It would be nice if the buttons were larger. If you are used to cleaning while you cook. Using this induction cooker will take some getting used to. Any amount of water will shut it off.

I've used this induction cooktop for about 6 months. It works fine but there's two flaws. 1. The "hot area" in the two large burners are smaller than you'd expect. So if you use a 12" skillet, the outside 1" isn't getting as hot even in the largest "burner" 2. If your kitchen has water at all-- if any water was to get onto the buttons, it'll either make the buttons "unpressable" or the water will "press the buttons". That means, if your fingers are wet- problem. If water from the pan splashes on the button- problem. If you want to wipe the stove with a damp cloth- problem. (I know there's a lock button, but making the buttons less sensitive to water would be much more useable) I've used a GE Profile Induction stove and it has neither problem. My hands can be somewhat wet and I can press the buttons. And the "hot area" is noticeably bigger. Other than that, it works fine. Way faster than conventional electric or gas cooktops. I regret not getting either a cheaper cooktop, so I wouldn't mind, or a more expensive one, without these flaws.

Works great, heats up quickly and no issues with heating elements. My only complaint is the control panel is very sensitive to pressure or moisture which causes the burners to shut off as a safety precaution. It’s a little tricky when cooking more than one item not to drip/drop on the front panel.

It's a bit unusual! It makes a sound when it works, but over time you get used to it and don't notice! It heats up the dishes quickly! In general, when you get used to it, it's a great stove.

Have had the stovetop almost 2 years now. Overall it’s a good stove but a couple of issues have led to some frustration. First the touch panel is extremely sensitive. If you set something down near the buttons they start beeping. If you wipe down the buttons they start beeping. Any residual moisture?…you guessed it beeping. The other is a bigger issue where one of the burners went out and started to give an error code. It requires a new board and waiting on one to get sent has taken a couple of weeks and still no updates.

Works as it should. The far right burner is the electrical equivalent of a flame thrower!

I love this cooktop! It is my first experience, having a lifetime using radiant heat. It is a great design and burner configuation, an energy saver, and makes my love of cooking easier and more efficient.

This is my first induction cooktop. I’m still learning all the features, so it’s a little hard to give a solid rating. I do like that your pans heat up faster.

Cooktop stopped working after 10 days with error code. BB warrantee was not available because Whirlpool overrides service. They stated that they would charge me for a visit if the error code was not active when they came to the house. It had reset but several days later, it error again and became permanent. Opted to just replace the unit under the 60 day option.

Installer discover counter had to be cut back a little. He had a contact to do it. Good problem solving!

It stopped working after a year so I recommend putting a warranty. And the warranty process it’s a mess with Best Buy

Picked this up to replace an old coil top. The install was easy enough and daily care is a breeze. With several meals created this was a huge upgrade and has been a huge hit at home.
