Great Performance, OK features
Prior to this we had an LG bottom freezer, stainless fridge that was loaded with features. Unfortunately, the LG failed twice in 8 years. My wife wanted a similar model an we came across this Whirlpool model. On-line reviews are very good for it so we gave it a shot. It was not available for viewing at our Best Buy, so this was a sight-unseen purchase. First the good - it's very efficient and relatively quiet. It works like it should and has more capacity than the LG we had. In fact, it's quite a bit larger internally than the LG despite similar exterior dimensions. The stainless finish is OK, but less fingerprint-resistant than some I've seen. Now the not-so-good - the ice maker only has the arm shutoff - the LG had a switch in addition that was a nice touch. The ice maker has no size adjustment so the cubes are what they are - you could make the LG cubes smaller or larger. The shelves and drawers are functional, but don't have the quality feel the LG's did. When you open the door and recluse it, the temperature of course inside drops again. The seal on the door is so good that my wife cannot physically open the door again until the inside temp stabilizes again due to the vacuum drawn on the door. All in all, this is a good fridge. At the price it should have a few more features and the feel of the drawer slides and shelves should be better. Ultimately I can live with that as long as it lasts. Now the really bad - the installers came and set up the fridge for us. Now you might say setup is setup. But here are my complaints; 1) they used a cordless drill to remove the door handle and hinges (needed to swap opening from left to right). Doing so really torques the screws and as a result distorted the sheet metal on the door where the fasteners were. They also broke off the plastic cover or vanity screws that cover the empty screw holes on the side without the handle. Installers should NEVER use power tools on things like exterior appliance hardware. I was out of the room at the time or would have stopped them. So I had to buy more at $20 for two tiny plastic screws. 2) they did not properly level the fridge, so the door would not close when released. So, pretty good fridge, poor installation and setup.

Great upgrade from old fridge
Amazing Size, temperatures are perfect. Measured with a Fluke IR thermometer to be perfectly at 37°F, and sub-30°F in the pull-out freezer. Well built, stainless finish is beautiful. Tons of space in the fridge half, with modular space to fit almost anything. Massive upgrade compared to a 25 year old fridge. No complaints on this, its practical, spacious, and an amazing cost-efficent and very quiet.

Why This Whirlpool Was the Right Fridge For Us
After a lengthy search, this Whirlpool bottom-freezer refrigerator has been a perfect fit for my kitchen. I was set on a bottom-freezer design after growing tired of bowing down to reach vegetable drawers in my previous top-freezer model. My second major challenge was size. My kitchen niche is only 69 inches tall and 33 inches wide, which eliminated many of today's larger refrigerators. This Whirlpool model fit the space flawlessly, both in its dimensions and its intelligent layout. A month in, I couldn't be happier. Its performance is silent and reliable. The SpillGuard glass shelves are as practical as they are stylish, making everything easy to see and reach. I've been pleasantly surprised by the spacious door shelves, which comfortably hold a six-pack or a half-gallon of milk. We also love the ice maker. It produces nice, clear oval cubes. Note that this model doesn't have a built-in water filter, but we easily solved that by installing a $40 in-line filter. Overall, this is a highly functional, well-designed refrigerator that I highly recommend

Great size. Versatile shelving.
A little early to rate this. Ask me 6 months from now. A year even. But so far we're happy with the product. Great size. Versatile shelving. Like how the shelves are completely changeable. Our previous fridge had the same capability, but less movable shelves. The noises this makes takes a little getting use to. Hopefully these noises are normal. Everything is cold or frozen as they should be. Nice looking fridge. Not the color we wanted, but because of the lack of product available (because of covid-19) and not wishing to wait months for the color/finish we wanted, we picked the stainless steel.
