Q: Just used my Whirlpool convection oven air fryer range for the first time. Is the fan supposed to turn off and on constantly. Like a minute on a minute off??

A: Hello Gidge. We recommend Affresh® cooktop cleaner. Affresh® cooktop cleaner removes soil buildup and cooked-on spills without scratching or harming cooktop surfaces. It has the power to cut through tough, cooked-on residues and leaves a streak-free, polished shine when used as directed.

Q: What is the difference between the convection oven and air fryer options on this model?

A: shepcat, the Air Fry cycle will default to a higher cooking temperature than convection to optimize heat for air frying. During this cycle, the Oven elements and the convection fan are used to circulate intense heat around the food. When the Air Fry cycle is used with an Air Fry basket, it will circulate hot air around the basket for optimizing browning and crisping. The Convection cycle will circulate hot air from two heating elements around the Oven so you do not have to move any dishes around as you cook. We hope this helps!
