Repositioning clothes

I am trying to get accustomed to how to place the clothes in the washer so that it does not stop and need to have clothes repositioned. I don't like it that the door does not open when repositioning needs to occur. I have seen the sign to reposition once, but not every time this needs to be done. It means that I cannot just go off and assume my clothes will be finished washing in an hour. It takes monitoring and is especially frustrating when I can't get the door to open to reposition clothes.
