Whirlpool 7.0 Cu. Ft. 14-Cycle Electric Dryer: Keep your clothes smooth and wrinkle-free with the Wrinkle Shield option that continues tumbling for up to 90 minutes after the cycle ends. The 14 cycle options and 4 temperature settings offer flexibility.
Q: If you are facing the dryer, which side is the dryer vent hose outlet on?
A: It is in the middle, at floor level. Part of the installation is to raise the top of the dryer, which pivots the control panel to the rear. That gives you the right distance for the dryer fro the wall. I installed a regular corrigated exhaust tube, and it fit perfectly (able to make a 90º turn to my exit tubing) without a kink, and lay properly in the space between the dryer and wall. You can get a pre-made close fit kit called a periscope as well. It is flatter and you can push the dryer closer to the wall.
Q: How noisy is the dryer?????
A: Thank you for interest in our Whirlpool dryer. Unfortunately we don't have any sound clips or metrics available on the sound decibels. If you'd like, you can follow the link provided below and read customer reviews on this dryer. Users have the option of rating sound quality from one to five stars. We hope you find this information useful. http://bit.ly/29yZebx
Q: Some dryers say 9, 12, & 14 cycle. What does cycle mean??
A: "Cycles" determine heating levels and times of drying activities that are available. There are 14 cycles in a typical Whirlpool dryer. Cycles are in groups based on the different types of fabrics to be dried. "Heavy Dry" has 6 cycles based on time of tumbling: 70, 60, 50, 40, 30 and 20 minutes of heat, with a choice of temperatures. "Fluff Air" has 3 cycles based on time of tumbling with no heat on, 30, 20 and 10 minutes. "Auto Dry" senses the moisture in the load or air temperature and shuts off immediately. Levels are "More Dry" and "Less Dry". There is another cycle called "Wrinkle Shield" which provides 90 minutes of periods of heat free tumbling to prevent wrinkles. It can be added to the other 3 types of drying.
