I first bought the 4.0 and didn't renew my subscription because I felt like I had learned how my body recovered and responded to light/heavy strain days. I bought the 5.0 because I was curious about the Healthspan feature which supposedly compares your Whoop age with your actual physical age. I figure if I could see what habits or activities make me age faster, I'd have direct insight on what I should change. I don't expect it to be an exact calculation but it can identify a trend which is really what I'm looking for. All the insights are great. I will say that it's heavy on data which hardcore athletes will appreciate. That's not me, but it does tell me the basics like sleep, stress, sleep, etc and all the extra data is a deeper dive into those stats. But it's accurate in displaying how I feel the next day after a workout. The down side is that the straps leave much to be desired. Short straps: The original band that it came with is so short. If you have large wrists like I do, you may find that the band is too short like it almost was for me. I'm not aware if the bands come in different lengths but something to consider. Widening clasp: If you have to change bands (for whatever reason) the clasp with the pins on the sides that lodge into the device can widen with each swap. You have to be mindful of that because then it might not securely lock your tracker in place. It looks off when you see space between the tracker and clasp when it's been inadvertently widened when you swap out bands. You have to pinch it back into place. Annoying but I guess that's ok for now. Pricey Bands: If you hate wearing wet bands and have to switch to another band after a workout, you'll need to pay $40+ for another band. They look great. But it is hard paying that much for what's essentially a band. They do offer more pricey straps but the focus shifts from function to fashion at that point. All in all, I like it. There are many more features that you can read about on their site but in the end, the positives outweigh the negatives for me so I'm happy with it.

Overall I really enjoy this wristband. Due to my major in school, I’ve been dealing with fitness in a state of high stress. This band is light, In fact it is the only accessory I can wear at night. I love how it isn’t flashy, but has everything I need to make sure I’m taking care of my body. If your main focus is just fitness, or if you just want to track your body, this is a great band to use!
