Everything about the fridge looks and works great! However, we had it running standalone for a few days before the bar cabinets went in. It was so noisy I was considering returning it. When the compressor wasn't running it was almost dead silent. But with the compressor running, it was very distracting while sitting in the same room as the fridge. Once installed in the cabinets, I also put insulation around and on top of it to help with noise absorption. Now when the compressor kicks in, you can hardly hear it! The 2 zone cooling works great! Easy to access and the quality of the metal and lighting is excellent. A great buy once built in! Shipping was good but since it's a heavy item, the box was a bit damaged. Slight dings on the side of the unit not seem didn't warrant fussing about it since I got it at a really good price from BestBuy.

I have purchased and returned several different brands of wine frigs, (including the Whynter Elite 17). Finally have a cooler which keeps the two zones about 10° apart for a reasonable price. It is a good size for us and runs quietly. 17 bottles is pushing it; 15 or 16 is tops.

Quiet. Shelves slide easily. Very nice item for a narrow space.

It has four adjustable feet on the bottom and does a great job keeping the two sections different temperatures. My only complaint reason this does not have a five star review is because it was so difficult to reverse the door. Such a simple task should not have been this difficult and the hardware they used to attach it was all stripped. Otherwise I would have given this a five star review.

Like many others on here, the wine refrigerator arrived slightly damaged at the top and rear. However, since it will be inside a kitchen island the damage isn't in an area where it will be seen so it doesn't really matter to me. It arrived on schedule, runs great and seems to be doing its job well. It is slightly more noisy than my kitchen refrigerator, but not to the point where it bothers me. When this one dies and assuming it lasts at least 5 years, I won't hesitate to replace it with the same unit.

Purchased this product 7/11/15. It arrived on my doorstep a week later. During this period, the fridge went on sale. Called customer service and was credited the difference. After opening the box, I inspected all aspects of the fridge. There were no dings, dents or scratches. My only complaint would be that there was a lot of grease on the fridge/packaging. Easily wiped off though. Otherwise, beautiful looks and seems high-end for a low price, especially for dual zone. The handle installed on the fridge within minutes. Plugged it into power in a temporary location to make sure it worked. Within an hour, fridge was at the set temps and working great. I haven't completed building the bar where this unit is going but so far is working great in a stand alone location.

My wife loves this wine fridge. We were looking for something to take up only a small cabinet and this fits perfectly without being oversized. It has a lot of storage space, although it favors reds over whites. Great purchase, looks awesome!

In the middle of a remodel. Used space from trash compactor to install this. Am not experiencing any of the noise issues others have commented on. Recommend this product.

I would actually rate it a zero. Quit working after 2 years. Repairman said they can’t be repaired. Whynter says they can repair it for $255 plus $70 return shipping. Plus I have to pay to ship it to them. Would be at least $400 to get a repaired unit. How long do you think that would last? What a joke. Do not buy this piece of junk!!!!

This is a sleek wine refrigerator that fits nicely into our kitchen cabinetry. The two zone cooling system is perfect for whites and reds.

I just bought this fridge for a kitchen renovation I was doing in my home. It was delivered and stored for a few weeks until the project was complete. I opened (and subsequently threw out) the box, put it in place a few days later and plugged it in. The electric went on, but the unit did not cool. I called Best Buy and they would not allow me to return since it was over 15 days that it was delivered. I called Whynter and they shipped me a new starter, that I was unable to install because of the size of the unit. They offered to pay for shipping back to CA, where they are located, but I had to pay for packaging and bring the fridge to UPS on my own. It is currently in transit. I have requested a new unit, but they told me that they will try to fix this one first. I am hoping once I get the fridge back, I will be happy with it, but right now I am neither pleased with BestBuy nor Whynter for giving me a product that does not work

Excellent quality. Low usage cost.. Easy to install in cabinets.. Perfect height for kitchen under counter installs. This thing seems to be pretty well made. Very pleased with the over all purchase

The correct height for this unit is 34 1/2" not 33" !!!!!!!!!! The only place you can see this is on the Whynter website. All other vendors, and even the Instruction Manual from Whytner, show the height as 33". This is a real problem for me because I only have 33 1/2 inches of space for this to fit. I am sorry I ordered it and think Whynter has done a poor job of informing customers about the correct dimension
