A: I had the same concern. Yes you can open the door at a 90 degree angle and pull out a shelf. Our cooler is inside a cabinet and it is easy to pull out the shelves.
Q: how to order
A: You are right on both occasions, yes they will deliver and no, they do not have it in the store. It is a marketplace item and you will not find this in any Best Buy. The delivery will take about a week or so, but you get all the shipping info and you can keep track of it to see when it will come. My wife loves it and it's a great showpiece, especially if all your appliances are stainless steel. It adds a touch of WOW!!!! to our kitchen.
