Will Hoge - Wings On My Shoes - VINYL LP

Vinyl LP pressing. 2024 . Will Hoge has a career whose milestones include Number One hits, Grammy nods, major-tag record deals, and hard-won independence. Years before Americana music received it's own category at the Grammy Awards, Hoge was on the frontlines, helping to pilot and popularize the genre's blend of American roots music. In the current digital era dominated by influencers seeking shortcuts to stardom, Will Hoge proudly treads the scenic route, immersing himself in the journey rather than fixating on the destination. Unapologetically contrarian, an insurgent of authenticity, Hoge takes the helm with his fourteenth studio album, 'Tenderhearted Boys,' where he breaks new ground by producing and playing every instrument himself. Each track unfolds as a chapter in Hoge's sonic autobiography, exploring the beauty found in all the nuanced corners of modern life. 'Tenderhearted Boys' is not just an album; it's a journey into the uncharted territories of musical expression, where vulnerability meets rebellion, and every note carries the weight of the artist's unfiltered soul. Vinyl LP pressing. 2024 . InchMore than ever, people need to hear songwriters talk about their lives. We don't always have to search for monster hits. We can just write about our lives and maybe that might actually work. That's what this record is a lot of. A lot of massive songs, but also a lot of me just writing authentically and honestly about my life. Flyin symbolizes the next phase of my career. I feel like I'm flying into this chapter where I'm the best version of myself that I've ever been. Y'all better catch-up or you're getting left behind. I'm on fire!Inch Album Tracks 1. Flyin 2. Vinyl LP pressing including digital download. 2018 . County Seat nods to a number of songwriters who sing about the beauty of their homeland without glossing over it's imperfections. There are electrified moments influenced by Neil Young, guitar arpeggios suited for R.E.M., turns-of-phrase worthy of Bob Dylan, and the modern-day folksy charm of Hiss Golden Messenger. On an album that evokes some heavy starpower, though, Will Stewart shines the brightest. This is his first full-length as a solo artist a rallying cry from a Son of the South who, having returned home after a long trip, looks at his birthplace with renewed eyes. Album Tracks 1. Sipsey 2. Rosalee 3. Brush Arbor 4. Otis in the Morning 5. Heaven Knows Why 6. Dark Halls 7. Equality, Al 8. County Seat 9. Mine Is a Lonely Life
