I like this product because of constant light levels; other more expensive models I've used in the past use strobes and modeling lights. They were great, but unaffordable for me. The lighting is not as strong as a strobe, but with digital cameras using variable ISO settings, this is less important, at least with short ranges between lights and subjects. I'd like to see a compatible weighted boom arm for product photography and butterfly lighting of models, and maybe heavier stands, although cheap sandbags would work . This model also uses E26 sockets, compatible with US bulbs, so other lighting sources like UV is possible. All in all, it's a great value!
