This is a great air conditioning unit, especially at this price point. Purchased this for my dad after his old AC broke down. This unit is noticeably lighter than our older one, making the installation process a lot smoother for window installation. The first thing that impressed me was the packaging of the unit and accessories. Removing the unit from the box was a breeze and all of the accessories are packaged neatly with extremely easy to follow instructions and hardware included. I installed it myself with no struggle. Upon installation, connecting to the dedicated app was simple and it worked perfectly. I also love the overall aesthetic of the unit once installed in the window from both the inside and outside. Traditional AC units can be a real eyesore, but this one is very simple in an elegant way. The noise level was quite low for an air conditioner, and it cooled the room efficiently. Very happy with this purchase, will look to upgrade the other air conditioners in the house with a Windmill unit in the future. 10/10, highly recommend.

So far so good. When the weather heats up it will get its real test, but so… -it works. -the app works. -the install and app instructions were great. Ikea, you should be taking notes. As other folks have mentioned, this window unit blows upward from the top vs. from the side. Not a concern for me, but worth mentioning.

I bought this A/C unit for my attic because I have a TV in front of the window that I’m placing it in. The vents at the top that blow the cool air upward works great!

Its the easiest set up. And its quiet. Thats really all you want at the wnd of the day. And the affed smart features are a bonus.

Windmill is an excellent brand. I had never heard of the brand before but sure am happy that I found them. This is the best window air conditioner that I have ever purchased. I have been in my house for 35 years and this is the third air conditioner that I bought. It far surpasses my other two. Installation was very easy. Just lift it into the window, pull down the window and pull out the side panels. You are ready to go. The air conditioner is solidly in the window. It comes with two additional panels that pop on over the side panels to make it more esthetically pleasing. Air conditioner cools wonderfully. It is extremely quiet. There is a protective grid that surrounds the outside portion of the air conditioner so you don’t have to worry about damaged fins. It is a little pricier than some other air conditioners but it is so worth it. I highly recommend the brand. You will be very happy.

This Windmill 6,000 BTU smart window air conditioner works well for a small room. It has a clean modern design and is pretty easy to use. The cooling is good, and the smart features are convenient. It can be a little expensive compared to other window AC units, but overall it is a solid choice.

Great looking and cooling. Easy install and simple to use. I love the simple to remove and clean filter. Nice and quiet.

This air conditioner is a great size, not too heavy to lift and works well at cooling. And the instruction manual that came with it in terms of insulation was the best I've ever seen My only challenge was the location of the control buttons on the ledge which could be hard to see sometimes. But that's not enough to stop me from loving it

I have tried many AC brands over the years and many were loud and eventually would leak. I stumbled across Windmill and gave them a try and now have two in my household and plan to get more. They are very quiet, easy to clean and have a modern design and are not as bulky as other brands. -Tyler

We had a couple of hot months in Boston to test our new Windmill AC unit. It worked great! It looks like a piece of art in your window. No clunky edges and loud noises. It is quiet, efficient and doesn’t make our living room look a factory. Love it!

Love my Windmill! I have 2! One 6k from last year and I got a 10k whispertech this year! They are so easy to install, obsessed with how it looks, and definitely the quietest window AC I've ever had. Highly recommend!

Thos window AC is very quiet compared to others like it and is much lighter to add. As well as its sleek modern design. S/N “It blows air up toward the ceiling, which is nice since heat rises and cold falls.

The Windmill AC is a total upgrade from any I’ve had before. It’s quiet, efficient, and looks great. Cools my room fast, even on really hot days, and was super easy to install. The app is so convenient, I can turn it on before I get home, so I never have to walk into a hot room. So far, it’s been perfect. Would recommend!

Love this AC - it was very easy to install - the package comes with all you need (they even include a pair of scissors) and the instructions make it easy to follow. Love both the remote and app capability. As others have mentioned - there is no adjustment of the direction of the fan - but it’s been effective at cooling down the whole room. Love the different modes and adjustability of the temperature.

What a great AC unit! The instructions were easy to follow and installation was simple. It does a good job of cooling our bedroom, and we’re really considering ordering some more units for our home. I especially like the flexibility of using the remote, the app, or even the Google Hole integration. It’s so nice to be able to cool the house ahead of time when we’re on the way home.

Returned this item after using because it wasn't cooling the room enough. I loved the design of this unit and the installation was really simple but it just couldn't cool adequately for my room with high ceilings. Also, the unit has a charcoal filter that needs to be replaced every few months so there is an additional cost to owning this unit. The replacement filters aren't that expensive but it is a little annoying that there is a continued cost that isn't explicitly stated on the product description.

I got this for my bedroom and it works really well. It is a bit louder than i was expecting but not so loud that I can’t fall asleep. It was easy to install and I was able yo do it by myself which is a plus. I’ve had it for over a month including some days with the heat index being over 100° and it has keep the room cold. I am happy with my purchase.
