Since the RA-3030 is 6" in height from top to bottom, this means the distance from stovetop to bottom of cabinet above range hood should be 33-39". But, if you want to purchase a stainless steel backsplash panel (either 30" or 36" wide), I'd note that Windster sells them in 30, 36 and 42" heights, so you'll want to think through precisely where you want a stainless backsplash to start = probably snug against the back of the stove frame (not the top of the grates!) and have it extend to the very bottom of the range hood.

Pretty and powerful
Great size with super strong CFM capacity! Cooked a ton of ground beef for a party not a drop of smoke in the air!

Perfect hood/vent
Love this vent/hood! This is sleek looking, not too big and has a powerful fan. The light on this hood is really bright and gives excellent light.The hood has a removal/washable upper cover.

Slim and effective
Works great but the installers had difficulty getting it flush. When I try and turn it on and off there seems to be a delay or I have to press the buttons multiple times.
