Creative take on the Sherlock Holmes story

This movie offers an outstanding British cast; a different version of the Sherlock Holmes character. Michael Caine and Ben Kingsley bring a new meaning to the story--superior to the most recent movie re-make (e.g., Homes and Watson).

Blu ray worked great

I only watched it twice, but I got all the way through it with no problems! One gripe is that there’s no subtitles (on a blu ray, too)

A different twist on Sherlock Holmes

Sherlock the brains, not so in this redention of the famous duo. Michael Caine in a good performance along with Ben Kingley.

little short on plot, but this movie thrives on interplay between caine and kingsley. this is a 5star performance.

This is a fun movie that many have never seen. Great seeing Michael Caine play a rake. A lot of in-jokes for Sherlock Holmes fans. Quality of picture on Blu-ray is excellent.
