The cards are easy to understand, the artwork looks amazing, and it gives you just the right mix of strategy without being overwhelming. It’s a super smooth way to get started or to teach friends the game. Even if you’re not brand new, it’s still a fun pack to have around because it really captures the feel of classic Magic. This is a great set to open. I bought this pack on a whim, just wanted to open something and pulled Hare Apparent! Nice little dopamine hit lol

I fully get why Foundations remains printed and popular, because everything I’ve pulled from a pack of these has been something that goes right into consideration for a build. If you’re not gonna buy singles, then these remain fun to crack open and useful for any format.
