You need an organized mind and ability to understand schematics to put this together. However, once you do it is perfect for a low profile TV stand. One hiccup: as it is universal, is that you are provided lots of size screws etc, but you only need the ones that will fit your size TV. ALSO as the screws are metric, we had to go buy a size not included as my TV was only 40" and none of those provided worked. My BF who is an architect put it together. As a non handy woman, no way on earth I could have done it alone!
