Good for what it is. You will not feel accurate shots rathe the entire vest will vibrate. Also feels like these is no way to fix the latency issues, not horrible but noticeable.

haptic vests still have a lot of improvements to make...i would consider this still a beginner level vest but it does make gaming a bit more fun...but they are very expensive...for what its worth, unless you got the extra money, id save it...

I’ve only been using VR for a few months, so when I first heard about the Woojer X Meta Vest, I was honestly a bit skeptical. It seemed like a cool concept, but I wasn’t sure if it would justify the price tag. I was already getting a lot of enjoyment out of my VR headset, so adding another piece of equipment felt like a big investment. But after giving it a try, I can say with complete honesty that this vest has completely changed my VR experience. The difference it makes is incredible. With just the headset, I had a great visual experience, but once I put on the Woojer vest, it was like the entire world of VR opened up to me in a whole new way. The vest adds a whole new layer of immersion by delivering haptic feedback that corresponds to what you’re experiencing in the virtual world. The Woojer Vest 3 (Made for Meta) is great for anyone who wants to have a more in-depth feel with their music, movie, or gaming experience. The quality of the haptics is amazing, really making you feel every hit of bass and impact in video games. In my experience with the vest regarding gaming, I have tried a couple games with it so far and it does not disappoint. Playing games like War Thunder and The Forever Winter, I am able to feel every explosion, gunshot, and rumbling of massive machines as I play, making me feel like I am really a part of those worlds, feeling every sound thrown at me. Another game I have tried this with is Beat Saber, which was incredible, as I was able to not only see and hear the music, but feel it as well, which adds a whole other level of immersion to the experience. In regards to movies, the vest is excellent at picking up subtle sounds and amplifying them, and making sure you feel everything that happens in the scene, be it the heartbeat of the main character or the explosions of battle. The setup process for the vest is incredibly easy. Just download the Woojer app on a mobile device and connect it to the vest via Bluetooth or Aux cable, and you are all set. The app is also easy to use, with simple and effective UI design and necessary information laid out in front of you. The vest itself is also very comfortable, with a nice material and adjustable straps so that it will keep the pads in place even while it is going off at full force. The 6 haptic devices are well placed and are very powerful, making sure that on higher settings you will not miss out on any sound. The vest will take up any Bluetooth/audio output for any device it is connected to, but that is solved with being able to use the Woojer app to connect Bluetooth headphones directly to the vest, and the vest having an Aux output jack such that you can also use wired headphones. Besides from a mobile device, the connection to PCs and VR headsets (specifically the Meta Quest 2) is also very simple. You have the options of using Bluetooth, an Aux cable, or a USB-C cable, which are both located on the front control panel of the vest. The connection is smooth and has little to no delay, really making you feel immersed in whatever experience you wish to take part in. The vest also has great battery life, in my experience needing only to charge for 1-2 hours before allowing you to use it for up to 6-7 hours of uninterrupted use.

As an added bonus, Woojer’s haptic vest looks much cleaner and sleeker than other haptic vests which played a role in making my VR setup look sick. My only gripe with the vest is that it isn’t possible to connect multiple vests to a Nintendo Switch, but that is more on the Switch’s end due to their bluetooth connectivity. TL;DR: Woojer’s haptic vest is a game-changer for anyone wanting to upgrade their VR immersion experience. The vest is not only an awesome VR addon but also an amazing music experience enhancement accessory. It provided fun bonding with my friends while also looking good on my VR setup.

I was initially concerned that the Woojer X Meta vest might be too bulky, but upon trying it on, it’s surprisingly comfortable and easy to adjust for a variety of body types. I often struggle with motion sickness in VR, rendering me unable to play for prolonged periods of time, but the haptic feedback from the vest really helps ground me into the virtual space. I bought it thinking it would be a lot more fine tuned than it was, but I just don’t think that’s what it’s meant to be. It pretty much just reacts to sounds in the game and vibrates, but again, not in a precise manner. Watching videos or playing certain games was decently fun, but it’s not completely immersive. One of the biggest cons was needing to plug in headphones or earbuds into the vest to actually hear, as the vest plugged into the sound port on the headset. If there was another way to do it, I never figured it out, but that definitely put a damper on it. The vest is a bit clunky, but not too bad. Overall, if you have a bunch of money lying around and you want to slightly enhance your VR experience, go for it. But don’t expect it to be super realistic by any means. If it was a couple hundred dollars cheaper, I would be much likely to recommend it. But could be something to keep an eye on as the technology progresses.

An amazing devise that makes everything come to life. It's take Vr and listening to music or movies to another dimension. Battery life is about 6 hours on full charge. Bluetooth connects easily. Lightweight and comfortable. The Meta version has holders for the controllers.

I bought this since I am a big fan of VR, and wanted to see if I could enhance my VR experience. Using it with my headset has been a joy. However, in addition to use with VR I have found it also totally shines when just listening to music with headphones. I have always been a big fan of music that you can feel. Wearing these with headphones has been a treat, it turns music into a full body experience rather than just something you hear. Full Concert-like experience. If you or someone you know is really into music or theater-like audio experiences I would 100% recommend you grab a vest for yourself. It’s about the same price as a decent subwoofer as well, but this won’t disturb your neighbors, and it will also have a heavier kick to the bass. Only thing that I have to critique about the product is a small software choice on the app. In order to connect bluetooth headphones you need to click three dots and press connect, whereas I think it would be a smoother experience to just be able to click the headphone device on the menu. I think this would be more intuitive. However, this is such a small nitpick that I don’t think it takes away from the experience at all!

Best gaming vest ever, feeling the thump of your gun in battlefield or COD really gives it that extra immersion especially with battlefield 6, you literally feel every explosion and bump in the road. Excellent for vr gaming also, you get full immersion, I highly recommend for anyone looking to level up.

Ill keep it short. Hot, heavy, couldn’t connect to my xbox wirelessly, what makes the whole thing magical is weak not much thump. It was better for music use but just sounded and felt like having vibrators taped to your body, and im not walking around outside with this thing on looking like a mortal kombat character.

Instructions were a little vague on operation. Can't use the headpiones on the metta VR set.I had to use bulky headpjones to go over my headset I couldnt find alot of games that made it feel worth having it for the price.I used it or tried to use it twice within the first week before it found a resting spot on the back of my chair.

When my son put this vest on and started playing call of duty he instantly got better at the game and was fully aware of everything going on. He can even feel people breathing

This was absolutely not “made for meta” the latency is insane and under no circumstance could I adjust it to get any better than around 100ms, the connectivity is really janky having you connect to a pair of headphones or earbuds as the headset thinks that the vest is an audio device, removing your ability to use the headsets speakers. Ended up returning, no way could I justify spending hundreds of dollars on this!

It was really cool when we got it set up, but it took some work to get there. Great duo with the vr headset!

Amazing immersion, I didn’t know I needed this until I tried it. As much of a gimmick I originally thought it was, sold once I tried it… doubles a I nice message too lol

This vest is a good invement if you were to use it for music or movies only. The main problem is that its not that good for haptics if your looking for that. For example this vest provides like a rumble of vibrations for all the audio it picks up while it lacks in individual haptic feedback for things such as gunshots or touch where you can actually feel.

Oculus Quest 3/3S do not have an aux port. Can not charge and play. Very fun otherwise!
