A: Just side to side not up and down. It’s extremely smooth moving. Not jerky or wobbly like a lot of other fan get after a while. I think that’s due to the base of it. That’s where it moves from. If that makes sense. My biggest delay in the purchase of it was because I had never heard of the brand before, wasn’t sure of its moving capabilities or how strong the wind force was. The split seam at the bottom is where it moves from side to side. It’s a great fan!

Q: Does the fan have any sound suppressing qualities or is it loud?
A: It is not loud nor has it gotten louder since I purchased it and it definitely needs a good cleaning as I have 2 cats and a small dog. I would say if you are wanting something that HAS a good bit of noise to it, you may want to get another one or invest in a small sound machine. I personally need fan noise in addition to needing to actually FEEL the force of the fan! But honestly, I wouldn’t give this little guy up for NOTHING! Even if he made NO noise! It doesn’t bother me at home because we have other fans and noises. I will say it’s difficult when we travel because it is so quiet. Hope that helps
Q: What kind of battery Plug into outlet Rechargeable?
A: The one I have is not rechargeable. It plugs into standard outlet.
Q: Is there a way to turn off the lights? It’s too bright I can’t sleep.
A: hold the button down with three squiggly lines, the one to the left of the oscillating button. the lights will go off and the fan will continue to run
