I bought this for a trio to Germany and Serbia. So I tried the Central European adapter (one of many in the set)

I bought this adapter set for a recent trip to Portugal, Spain and France. I needed only one of the adapters. The adapters replace the US plug that comes standard on Mac power supplies. The supplies are designed to work on 100-240 volts - so no transformer is needed - just the adapter plugs. Used it throughout a two week trip and it worked flawlessly. The only problem is that I stayed in some hotels that were very stingy with outlets. Now that I have an extensive supply of adapters, I'll have to explore more of the world!

The World Travel Adapter Kit by Apple is very functional, well-made, and easy to use. There are, however, two important aspects about it to note that should have been made clear by the manufacturer: 1) It is designed to work in conjunction with an Apple 12 Watt Plug, which has a converter built into it. Without this plug this unit will not work at all! 2) There is no adapter for Italy, which often requires three prongs. Also, certain areas of Italy require a two-prong adapter that has a different spacing than the two-prong European adapter included with the kit. These items need to be purchased separately.

As usual, Apple does it again. Haven't been back to Europe for over 10 yrs. Had Android then but now everything I own is Apple (watch, laptop, phone, etc). Wasn't sure how it'd go but all my stuff ended up being just fine to charge. Only pulled out what I needed for this trip (Italy/Spain) & used it @ 4 airports on the way over. All small & easy to fit. A MUST BUY for anyone who likes to travel.

I only wish I would have discovered this earlier. It is fantastic because not only will you know it will work and be good because it’s apple but it is the only one I found that covers the entire planet. Can’t recommend enough. You will need an apple power adapter with this (not included).

Having these adapters when traveling is nice because you never have to worry about frying your equipment with some weird power convertor. Also, I am able to charge my other Apple devices through my laptop, so it eliminates the need for any other adapters. The only thing is they come in this giant box and the adapters themselves aren't clearly labeled. It's easy to misplace them.

It is a little bulky with all the adapters but it is easy to exchange the plugs.

Worked perfectly for my trip to Ireland. If you want to charge more than one item at a time, you will need to purchase additional adapter boxes (or see if you can find a single for the country you are visiting) as each adapter in this box works for a different country. If you can charge your items at different times, you only need the one box. Otherwise, you will want two or more adapters, if you have multiple apple products. Two adapters worked fine for my purposes as I had four apple items to charge.

This is exactly what was needed to keep all the Apple equipment up and running for our 2 week trip in Ireland. Other adaptors I looked at did not have the capability to plug in anything that had a 3 prong plug that the MacBook Pro computers have. Perfect kit for travel.

Just back from Ireland which uses the same plugs as the UK. Once I figured out that the various adapters only work with those recharging units of Apple’s with a detachable “duckbill,” I was able to recharge with no problems. My problem is with the inadequacy of the instructions. If you’ve never slid the duckbill off your Apple recharging units, you may not know how to proceed - it’s just not as intuitive as Apple seems to think. Bottom line: great hardware, under-thought “software.”

I ordered this for my trip to England and Netherlands. It is a must own for Apple users who travel. Very easy to interchange adapters to their respective locations. U have this and you’re golden.

It's a highly versatile adapter kit for traveling overseas. The only drawback is it's fairly bulky with a lot of components if you need to take the entire kit with you, but overall it's good value for money; you get a complete set of regional adapters for a very reasonable price.

I went to Paris, Belgium and Amsterdam a couple of weeks ago. Decided to purchase the "Apple World Travel Kit", rather than a less expensive off brand. So glad I did, my friend on the other hand bought the cheepie and you get what you pay for. The cheepie fried her new I-phone when she attempted to charge it. We used my Apple brand adapter kit the rest of the trip for blow dryers, and curling irons. Worked like a charm!

Since I was traveling in Europe, I needed a Europlug (Schuko) adapter for my iPad’s electrical charger. I didn’t think several of the plug adapters would be used on this trip. I was wrong. I found myself in England, so another adapter gave me the ability to charge my iPad. A brilliant way to use local electrical outlets everywhere!

This charger does it’s job. It charges relatively quickly and I trust it way more than any of the chargers some street venders try to sell you. It’s worth your money.

This charger adapter worked great for my travels through Europe. A bit expensive at $35, however I now have an adapter that will work just about anywhere in the world.

Neede a charge for my Macbook Pro in a hurry-they did not have the 60W but advised to get the 45W which charges the computer albeit slower as the staff said. No matter needed a charger there and then and it does the job!
