They don't give you a lot of string so definitely pick some up after purchasing. The battery lasts about 2-3.5 sessions on a 0.2 acre lot in the city. It's very light and easy to use.

We have about a minute and a half of weed eating to do each week, so this works perfectly. I charged the battery over a month ago and am still going strong. I didn't even see the big black guard for the bottom until I was throwing the packaging away, so the first time my shoes were covered in grass. Ha! I love it when I screw up. It is very lightweight and long enough that you don't have to hunch over and wear out your back. You can buy a value pack of six cord cartridges, which I recommend, though again, my needs are so small that I haven't gone through the first one yet. The little wire guard at the front is handy to keep you from wearing out all your cord on a chain link fence because it keeps you a healthy distance from objects.

Worx, the unsung brand has impressed my family and I for years. When this battery powered grass trimmer went missing my father looked to buy something to replace it and ended up with a different off brand unit that just didnt make the grade. For christmas I saw the unit has held the test of time and is still selling at its original price and with no changes at all. Been using this trimmer for a very long time and the only thing thats ever failed about it was the shroud that goes around the head to keep spacing and maintain the max legth of the string. The shroud can take some abuse but if it breaks off your line will just continue to get longer and longer untill the motor shuts off. Seems to me it has a fail safe and wont let the line get longer then its supposed to. All very impressive for a lil weed eater Id recommend the product and its more powerful worx brother any day.

The product is very lightweight. On a full charge the battery can last about 15 - 20 min. Performance is good enough to get the job done. Overall its very handy and easy to maneuver in small area. My dislike is it can be a little more powerful and only has one outlet for the line. Normally most weadeater has two outlet which give more a better performance to your lawn faster.

I'm very satisfied with the WORX trimmer. It's light weight and powerful. I'd buy another one.

I am a 5'1 female and the Worx 20v 10" cordless trimmer & edger is perfect for me. It is lightweight yet powerful to get the trimming done neatly and quickly.

The weed wacking part works great! The edger? So-so.

Perfect for my yard, very easy to use. I have a small backyard and front yard so the battery lasts with ease.

This product is adequate as a trimmer but requires that my thumb and hand constantly compress the the handle and side button at the same time which is difficult to do especially when changing angles as in edging.

It's not a heavy duty but so far it's working fine,no issues to report pretty much it's for home use

I just used it yesterday and it was a disaster. The string gets torn apart even without trimming. That is, I just make it run on its own and the string got ripped. I couldn't use the trimmer. I wanted to return it but Best Buy's lousy return policy already shut the return period. I really would like to return this trashy item and replace it with something better.
