The WORX 4V Max Lithium Zip Snip cordless mini cutter is worth every penny! I was asked to make the winter backdrop for my youngest son’s school one week before the performance took place. The theme was “Charlie Brown Christmas” a classic and I was excited to help out with this big project. I started drawing out the characters and then painted them, all was going smooth until I started cutting them out and was left with rigid edges and an end result I wasn’t feeling pround to display in front of the whole school. I started Googling electric cutters and found the zip snip at Best Buy and the reviews sounded pretty promising so I went and bought it. I got home and immediately charged it up and then started to use it. I was cutting large characters out of cardboard and backer board which is really thick. Holy Mother of a Game Changer in getting any project done with amazing finishes!!!! If you don’t have one go buy one immediately. It even sharpens the blade itself every time you use it.

This thing is a tiny little work horse. I’ve been saving boxes for months to line the bottoms of my garden beds with and I was dreading breaking them all down, but this little cutter made it so easy.

I have had mine for over a year and it still cuts well. It helps break down my cardboard quickly. It easily charges with the included charger. A friend liked mine so well I bought another one for her.

This cutter is very handy. It fits your hand very well and is very easy to use. I have used it to cut paper, wrapping paper, and cardboard. It went easily thorough the paper and wrapping paper. I had to put a little muscle to go through the cardboard. I know the guard is there for protection, but I would like for it to be where you could snap it off to be able to cut bulkier things. That’s why I took off a star.

I love this work product. It’s so easy to cut up boxes and great for wrapping gifts.

This is perfect. I could never go back to breaking down boxes by hand.

This is a pretty cool tool. I use it to make piñatas. ( See photo) It cuts carboard good and cut my time down to ¼ to what it usually takea me with scissors. The down side is it jams easily with the thickness of the cardboard. Thats why the 4 instead of 5 stars.

Im a 5'2 female with small hands and I can work the safety button no problem. If you have arthritis or other hand issues this might be an issue for you. My work around to that is use your non dominant hand to press the safety while holding it with the other hand, I have done this myself with no issues. I have one complaint of my charger being defective from the get go, the way they tie it in the box made mine not charge, right where the electric cord was all bent and I had to move it all around for it to get a proper connection. Im going to contact the company to see if they will send me a replacement charging cable and that will tell me how well this company will really honor their warranty. I will come back to let everyone know how they handled the situation. Gotbthis to cut down the endless shipping boxes frim my endless shopping lol so I can fit it in my recycling bin, live it so far.

I purchased this as a Deal of the Day item to use with cutting vinyl. It also came in handy cutting wrapping paper this past holiday season.

My wife loves this cardboard cutter. Makes it to where we can put so much more into the can. It works like a a charm

Works great on most cardboard. It can struggle a bit with some thicker boxes (example in picture) or with boxes that have a thick paper printed overlay, but it will still eventually get the job done with a little effort.
