I loved this game in the arcades back in the day! When arcade 1up announced the XMen cabinet, I knew it was going into my collection. It plays pretty close to what I remember from my childhood, has the lit marquee, the deck protector, and the coin doors(which are purely cosmetic) but they look great on the front. The deck protector has the multi colored LED Light up bar, which was strangely missing from the Simpsons A1U cab. The other games are good, one being another beat em up and one being a fighting game, however, most will buy this for the X men game. My only criticism is the price. I already miss the days of $300 A1U cabinets! I can go without all the extras(stool, lit marquee, stand, etc) if it means I can get the cab for less money. I would even buy more of them but this has to be one of those “choose the one you want the most” situations cause I can’t afford them all at 700+ a pop. If you are looking for that sweet arcade nostalgia and have no regard for the price tag, I say go for it!!

This brings back so many memories playing video games at the arcade in various malls back in the days. Light up marque and controls is awesome. Screen is very clear, controls work great. Cabinet was easy to put together, the art is nice looking. Came with a chair too, perfect height with the rise. Definitely recommend getting it with the riser, machine is too low without it. If you love X-men and/or arcade machines, definitely get this one to add your collection. Cabinet is great size, not official size as like the arcade, but perfect to play at home with multiple players and permits you to maximize your room real estate.

Great one 1 up arcade cabinet. And playability is awesome. Artwork is amazing very pleased. Light up control, panel and marquee makes it easy to play in the dark. Six characters to choose from to other games besides X-Men on cabinet. Captain America, and galactic storm. Has that retro feel you’re looking for in the man cave guys! Very satisfied with Best Buy. Highly recommend this cabinet.

This brings back so many memories of my childhood when i spent hours and lors of quarters.... the nostalgia is wonderful

This is my 4th arcade 1up machine. This X-Men arcade is the most ‘deluxe’ one yet. The coin doors on the front add coolness to it, light up marquee, light up control deck, awesome artwork, stool. This was the heaviest bix and took the longest (about 2 hrs) to out together. Sucks that there isn’t more than 3 games, but there’s lits of fun to be had with these 2 side scrolling games and 1 fighting game. Wi-Fi capability is fun, and its a blast introducing your kids to these games we played when we were young!

I really love my X-Men cabinet from arcade1up. Brings back all the nostalgic feels from playing this game at the arcade as a kid. The other dislike i guess i could say was the yellow joystick wouldnt go up & down, just left and right when i got it. Arcade1up was quick to send me another replacement which was great. Game play is awesome. Just gave it a 4 star due to the broken joystick.

Very surprised at the level of quality in materials and finished surfaces. Pre-drilled holes were absolutely precision perfect and completely square and level after installation completed. Deck area is wide enough for 3 adults to play at same time.

I love this, I bought this for my boyfriend and he was so happy, this has a sense of nostalgia. I loved it so my h I actually bought two. It doesn't take up much space and its definitely a statement piece.

This is my first 1UpArcade and I’ve gotta say I’m very impressed. The quality of the material is really nice. The instruction manual to build this was very well put together. It took my about 3 hours to get it all set up. The game plays as good as it always has. I think the scanlines option is a must to have enabled, otherwise it looks like a pixelated mess. My only complaint is the speakers, which are not all that good. Overall it’s an awesome product.

I really like this machine. The way it's built the way it looks and the size of the control deck. But the monitor is not the best size. It should be bigger and I think this machine will be one that I'll have to put a modded control dexk in because it only plays three games

An excellent product. I've been fighting this (1up arcades) fad for a while... And then they release the X-Men arcade game. It was fun to build... Like IKEA with video games. It's not a '90s cabinet... And it's definitely about 30 to 40% smaller than the old cabinets. Honestly, it's simply a raspberry pi a 18-in LED screen and particle board... With the 90s X-Men graphics obviously... But that doesn't change how cool it is and the small stature is not a problem... I'm 5'11 dude and it's comfortable to stand and play. It looks amazing... It's an excellent display piece. The only criticism or perhaps idea for one up to add... I really wish the coin slots lit up... Or even cooler if you could use them as a button to add credits... Not necessary but would be very cool. Lastly the stool that comes with it is an excellent icing on the cake... I obviously worry about how long it will last... But again the whole product is exceptional.

Not hard to set up kids come over all the time loads of games can play up for hours

I haven't play the X-Men arcade since the 90s when I was a child. I had to wait for the price to go on sale. The installation was pretty easy. It's good that I have an arcade in my home that I can play without the quarters with unlimited game play.

Best Buy was able to price match Got it for $349 awesome for the price I will be very upset if I paid full price for this item Not worth $750

Arcade1Up replica cabinets are great quality for those who miss the nostalgia of going to the arcade without dropping 3k per machine.

The machine is great in terms of build quality, setup, controller/joystick response, button functions, screen and sound. The aesthetics of a retro-themed game cabinet in your space are awesome. Its a mini-arcade so it doesnt take a whole lot of space and a great deal at 499 if you can pick it up. The only complaints are it takes a while to put it together and setup. Not undoable, just prepare for at least a couple of hours if youre building it yourself. The only other downside, and you know this going in, is the size. Once you play it, youre happy with it for sure. It would just be such a cool deal if they made a classic full size version with the same game lineup, even thiugh it would be more expensive. To sum it up, its great, if youre thinking about getting it and have been waiting, just buy it. The maching is so cool to look at and playing it is nostalgia induced fun.

I really enjoy the Arcade 1up X-Men cabinet. The light up marque and control deck are great. I did find that the height of the cabinet does match my NBA Jam Arcade 1up which is slightly disappointing. The only other issue are the button lay outs for the 4 players as they are not easily accessable to users at each of the player locations, minor point but when you have four players on the machine at one time it can be frustrating trying to push some of the buttons as they arent in a natural location.
