This unit is designed for the Beginner as well as the Expert and will Definitely Exceed Your Expectations with its Quality & Durability compared to any Soldering Iron Station in its Class. The 9060-PRO-X Features X-Tronic's Proprietary Hollow Tips. This Allows the Ceramic Heating Element to be Much Closer to the Tip. Comparable Soldering Stations are Encased in a Collar, Meaning the Heating Element is Further from the Tip, which causes Much Slower Heating Times. While this Unit was manufactured for Soldering Stained Glass, it has many other Applications such as Soldering Medium to Heavy Gauge Wire.
