I’m currently playing and they are still fun to play like the originals. The main issue is there are too many bugs like a cars and pedestrians being stuck in the street, etc

An Xbox classics revived for the Xbox Series X A remaster is worth the wait! Fantastic to see the Xbox flagship games redone for the Xbox Series X. Gives that feeling of wow look at those graphics when you first played GTA 3 at launch! Well done Rockstar for giving your original fans a remaster they've been wanting.

This game is great. Brought back so many memories. The 3 in 1 really did it for me.

GTA 3 is my #6 top game of all time! This is the game that started it all in 3d open world play. The game is really fun to go back to after many years away from it. It still holds up in 2021 as a playable experience. The missions are fun- and many are pretty short at the beginning. Several missions are pretty challenging. Overall it’s great to cause havoc in Liberty City! The Definitive Edition has taken some hits for its initial state. I played it after patches- and I only saw one floating car & one floating lamp post. There were also some pretty wild looking pedestrians in the game. There were no other glitches that I experienced. I’m glad I bought this and played it again. I will definitely play it again sometime in the future. GTA Vice City Definitive Edition- 12/24/21 GTA 3 is my #6 top game of all time! But I really debated between that & Vice City. This game is really my favorite GTA game. It’s aesthetics of the 1980s Miami are outstanding. It has my favorite soundtrack of any game ever. It also has perhaps the best voice cast of all time. It’s been a long time since I played it. Something that stood out is that the map is really quite small compared to today’s open world games. I can see why this was originally an expansion for GTA 3. But I love playing as Tommy Versetti. I really hope the rumors are true that GTA 6 might be partly set back in Vice City. I really didn’t see any glitches in the Definitive Edition- except some wild looking pedestrians. The only thing I don’t like about it is that you have to meet certain requirements to open up the last mission. I don’t like to have to grind just to be able to finish a game. Overall, it was a great experience to go back to. Definitely still enjoyable in 2021. I will play it again sometime in the future.

Picked this up Dec 2024 when it was on sale for 24.99 plus tax. I would say that was the only reason I picked this up for it being such a great value for 3 Classic games in the GTA franchise. With every remaster, some things are removed such as a few radio tracks that I noticed on "Vice City" so far. But other than that, the controls and interface are much cleaner graphically to be up to date for the current generation of consoles. This physical copy on Xbox comes with one disc and no poster (sadly) - reminds me of the original releases where a nice quality poster/map of the city was included. I recommend picking this up if it is on sale. It beats getting a GTA + membership! :)

This game is definitely fun and takes you back to the classic GTA's. There are some glitches in this game, but they honestly aren't a huge deal and have not affected the missions and overall game play. Great deal for the price and will keep you busy for a while.

I'll say that I enjoy the game, but there's certainly some flaws and from what I understand there's likely more than a few. I'm someone who has never played the three games included in this Trilogy and I was excited to be able to relive that era of games. So far I'm enjoying it it's certainly not as refined as GTA v, or those who played GTA iv, but it's fun. There's some great actors who played roles like Ray Liotta and to hear their voices and the stories, is a lot of fun. For those who have Nostalgia for the games, or those who never played it and would like to try a much more scaled back version of what we see today before GTA 6 comes out sometime later this year or next year, I would recommend it. If you're looking for a fully clean game, this is likely not for you as there are some flaws. I have not run across them yet but it's pretty clear based on other reviews that this is in the game and I will come across them. If you're looking for flawless, again probably not for you.Overall, if you're looking for something fun, and you can get it for the right price, I would highly recommend it.

This piece of nostalgia is fine, but don’t go into it expecting to be blown away. I would love to tell you that the developers went into this project with the mindset of bringing these trendsetting pieces of gaming history up to current quality standards. I mean, the games themselves where ahead of their time, but that time has passed, and now they stand quite a few steps off the pedestal they once occupied. Don’t get me wrong. For the price of one modern triple A title , you are getting three good games, but they are definitely not remastered games that meet the current definition, or quality of modern titles. The publisher even made a public apology acknowledging the backlash they received for releasing this game in the state it was released, but there is a saving grace. This game would make a great stocking stuffer. The shear amount of content you get for that price shouldn’t be overlooked, and even after all these years there is still a lot of fun to be had here.

Game seems better than a lot of people made it out to be. I've had little to no bugs while playing, and I've played through 2 of 3 of the games now. They must have patched some things from the initial release that were problematic.

The game’s definitely look better remastered. Still fun to visit the older GTA games. Rockstar probably could’ve left these in the oven a little longer… games still have bugs but not horrible

Fun to play again, but absolutely not "definitive," these games still need a lot of work to be the best. But still worth playing.

The good: you get to relive three of the best sandbox games that ever existed, or the ones that really kicked it all off. It was nice to have a walk down memory lane. The bad: when I popped the disc into my XBOX it wouldn't install the games off the disc and it took several work arounds until finally I was able to install the game off the XBOX store. However if I take the disc out of the console to play something else and reinsert the disc to continue to play one of these games, the disc wants to install. It will NOT allow me to play the games without the disc however. Maybe a patch would fix this? If so, I'll update this.

Top notch GTA games with cleaned up graphics. Great soundtracks, characters, and missions throughout the three games. The games are some of my top favorite video games I've played.
