Super cool little bonus for anyone who ordered Xenoblade X for the switch. Love the stand as some other items they had out like photos or artwork just sit in a drawer, and I was able to stand this in a gaming area with other figures or gaming related items.

It’s a nice item. However, I don’t like the Nintendo Switch logo. Drop the logo. We know who you are, Nintendo.

This might be my favorite preorder bonus! The way it shines is great and I love the art on it!

I was lucky enough to get the preorder bonus but I also preordered it the same day that it was announced.

I liked playing the Xenoblade games since ever. They come with great graphics, a great story line and leave lots of room to explore! So - I was really looking forwards to play this title! The good things: - The graphics are looking great! - There is a lot to explore! - Lots of tasks and complexity to figure out. The not that great things: - The world is pretty big and in order to squeeze lots of tasks and specials into it, the world has been divided into a hexagonal grid and each element contains .. something .. somewhere. finding things is often nightmarish as far superior enemies are cruising the area. Once they see you you are gone within seconds. And the terrain is 3D - with caves, giant bridges, etc. So finding things is far from easy. Some things you have to get through are unreachably high (and hence you cannot find them). But... there is no way to mark things on the map. so you go there over and over again. - There are 100s of tasks. Many are extremely cryptic and it is totally not clear what is expected from you. E.g. the mission says: "Dog". What does that mean? Reading on the internet explains that you have to first do another mission with 7 lifes and then you get a Dog. Who would have known? With a non linear story line like this and sheer non ending amount of things you have to do from the get go - this seems to need a bit more work to let the story unfold over time. The bad things: - Save. There are 4 save slots (a bit thin?). And - they break. No kidding. I was trying to do one mission over and over again, failed every time on a character which was stomping into me and killing the team in no time. But I saved! Yeah ... no. I was always falling back to about 30 minutes before. Finally I restarted the switch and then I could save again. However- since then I have lost one of the save slots as it is unusable and broken. Reading up on the internet states that that is common. This is a game which you can easily play for 100 hours and you cannot rely on the save functionality. Hmpf. But either way I gave it 4 stars as I like the series and the graphics. Maybe a 3 would be a more accurate description.

The free exclusive metal poster that came with Xenoblade Chronicles X is larger and much cooler than I was expecting. The metal is lightweight, maybe aluminum, and the dimensions must be a bit bigger than 5inx7in. The acrylic block under holds it up and has a slit for it to slide into, keeping it very stable. I like most that the metal poster stand has the art from the game case but expanded horizontally. Considering that I like to have art or game cases on display, this works perfectly for display on my entertainment system next to my Switch or near my game collection.

Such a fun rpg im 60 hours in and so happy i purchased this. The story isnt the best but with this xenoblade its more about grinding and customizing your skell/ big mech. Its really rewarding unlocking skells for your team of 4 to go explore the world. Dont be in a rush to get a skell it happens at lvl 20 and with story so just enjoy and learn the mechanics of the game. Hours of fun

This is a heavy duty bonus! It is a solid sheet of metal with a quality stand. While the printing could have been a higher resolution, it still looks great!
