5/5, i loved this game start to finish, i struggled with the combat system of the original, so the changes done in terms of the combat were excellent. The visuals grew on me over time as i played the game and in RGG fashion there are plenty of mini games and many hours of fun to be had without overstaying it's welcome.

I genuinely thought this remake was a better game overall. It's far from being as bad as some fans of the series make it out to be. Look, I'm not going to pretend that RGG didn't make some questionable decisions in this game, but I'm also not going to pretend that the original was some kind of masterpiece. If you're wondering what I thought about the original, let's just say I did not have a really good time playing it. My experience with the remake, on the other hand, was much more enjoyable, and this is mainly because of the gameplay changes. Combat has been updated to be more in line with their recent beat 'em up games and the orphanage being turned into a management mini game made it more engaging. As for the story and characters, unfortunately, it doesn't do enough to change or improve on the original. Lastly, the spinoff game that comes bundled with the remake was just "okay". There's enough content to give you 10+ hours of gameplay time and you will get better insight on what Mine was like.

If you love the Yakuza games then this remake is a must have for your collection. I love that they have english dubs available for it as the previous version was english subtitles only and reading all the dialogue gets very old after a while.

It's really fun, it sadly does suck where the story direction is going with future remakes and there are some downgrades to the original Yakuza 3, but if you enjoy smooth, great beat em up gameplay this game might be for you.

A great game with a new great story in Dark Ties! Very cool to see the rise of the villain

while yakuza 3 is my favorite entry in the series kiwami 3 might be my least favorite ,.. its pretty crummy of a remake in pretty much every area , the combat doesn't feel as good ( and thats the 1 thing they really needed to fix for most ppl) the side stuff that had existed being decimated to such and extent with imo nothing really worth while filling it is a letdown , the slower pace of the beginning served its purpose in the original and i think the way they handled the orphanage stuff in this making it side stuff totally undermines the key points of this entry... this is speaking nothing of the likeness actors and recasting which is bad honestly in more ways than 1 ,.... so while i think yakuza 3 is a 9/10 , kiwami 3 might be a 6.5/10

Best Buy continues to be one of the best places to order from. I’ve always gotten my orders quickly and in perfect condition, and this was no different. Way better service than Amazon these days.

Not as fun as the original, dark ties could’ve been paid dlc at best

Yakuza Kiwami 3 reinvents the classic Yakuza 3 with modern polish and expanded content, but it’s a mixed bag. It drops the dated PS3-era feel and rebuilds everything in the Dragon Engine, giving Kamurocho and Okinawa far more detailed visuals, fluid animation, and revamped combat that finally addresses old frustrations. New weapon-based Ryukyu fighting styles add variety, and the newly included Dark Ties story campaign lets you explore the series from the antagonist’s perspective, which is a rare and refreshing twist.

It is the worst of the Kiwami games, it cuts out so much content and looks the worst in terms of graphics.
