    Sounds fantastic

    I've been using this pretty hard. Averaging 5 or 6 hours a day I bet. Running it with kef LS50 metas and a small Martin Logan sub. It never gets fatigues the ears. The speakers help alot I'm sure. The only thing that cost a star is I would like a more analog Style display and controls. I don't find running thru all functions and adjustments on one display convenient at all. It's really inconvenient and annoying. You don't have to use the controls on the unit though. You can use the remote, but that's crowded with tiny buttons and even tinier text labels telling you what function the perform. Yamaha is not alone in these issues, and the unit does sound beautiful. I can tell by the feel, and previous experiences with Yamaha amps it will almost certainty work flawlessly for many years, so I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again, despite my trivial complaints about the design of the controls. They're standard for the times I supose, it's more likely I'm out of date.

    Just as expected and a little more

    Read the reviews and figured that for the price I was going to be giving up a lot. As soon as I took it out of the box, I felt the weight and was excited about getting it connected. Paired it with a pair of quartets in a small room and they sound amazing at low volumes. Turned it up and you can tell where this pairing can go. Can’t wait to play around with it in other rooms and with other speakers. The only problem is that I like the way it looks, has that vintage vibe with all the modern amenities, so now I’m looking for a place where they can be a main piece of the house instead of hiding in a room.

    Good Audio quality

    Yamaha offers everything you need in a stereo amplifier at this price point. The flexibility of the MusicCast interface, combined with the overall sound quality, makes it an excellent value.

Make sure you check the impedance of your speakers and then check the power output at that impedance value to see if you will have adequate power to drive them properly.     This has FM and AM radio in it and you get both FM and AM antennas. You can also use SiriusXM and other such services.

    You should be able to connect turntable and CD player. As for Tower speakers, you should download and read pages 126 - 127 of the User Guide regarding power output based on difference impedance values.
