I had low expectations for this game, and I have to say: I was very pleasantly surprised. First off, this is NOT a platformer like older Yoshi games. If you go into this game expecting that, you’ll dislike it. Second, this game can be short if all you do is go from point A to point B; this game is all about experimentation and exploration. That said, the experimentation and exploration are incredibly fun, and this game is packed full of charm. There were so many times I verbally stated, “Oh, that is SO neat!” Visuals are great, audio cues are good, music is fine, but the overall experience was such a delight.

Very entertaining, a great game reminds you of old yoshi.

The puzzles are fun and engaging without being too difficult, making it perfect for younger players while still being enjoyable for the whole family. The beautiful storybook-style world is a joy to explore, and the attention to detail makes every level feel unique. Overall, this is a wonderful game with plenty of adventure, creativity, and family-friendly fun.

If your child is 7 - 11 age range this game is for them. If you are older then that you might find this game very childish. Its a good fun game but meant for kids. Not very challenging.

Yoshi and the Mysterious Book is a charming and relaxing adventure that focuses more on exploration and discovery than on difficult platforming. Instead of fighting enemies, you'll spend most of your time interacting with strange creatures, solving light puzzles, and uncovering secrets inside a magical storybook world. The hand-crafted art style is beautiful, and the game constantly rewards curiosity.

It's a nice game, but won't be for everybody. There's a lot of figuring out things. The game is really fun. Definitely a different style of gameplay than anything I've ever played. You can't die in the game which makes it more appealing to kids or people who are looking for a cozier type game. My biggest complaint is that it's a bit pricey. The game is a little shorter than I would like as well.

With all of the love and attention packed into each stage, Yoshi and the Mysterious Book successfully brings the classic joys of Yoshi into full HD glory with new and unexpected ways to play! The best part? You play your way! Will you investigate all of the creatures, or only enough to progress? Which color Yoshi will you play as? How many creature notes can you uncover? I would recommend this game to anyone looking for a fun and engaging way to fill their time.

I’ve been having a great time with Yoshi and the Mysterious Book. The game is charming, relaxing, and full of secrets to discover. One of my favorite features is how each chapter feels like a storybook world with hidden collectibles, creatures to research, and plenty of optional content. I also like that it encourages exploration instead of rushing through levels. I’ve been working toward 100% completion, and there’s much more to do than I initially expected. If you enjoy platformers, collecting secrets, and colorful adventures, this is an easy recommendation.

Fun game and easy enough to play. Yoshi has always been my wife’s favorite character.

Fun, cute game. Thought the gameplay was very simple at first, but as they introduced more mechanics it was more interesting. Some puzzles are not straightforward.

Not my normal genre of game but I love the yoshi games and this one is really good! If you like the other yoshi games you will definitely like this one!

I haven't finished the game yet, but it has been such a fun experience to play. I'm not a great video game player, but sure it keeps you tinkering and creating new ways to see the colorful environments. Definitely reccomend to everyone and anyone, whether they are into video games or not!

it would buy it and then resell if you are a yoshi fan but if you are a collector of yoshi products then this is worth buying and playing on switch 2.

Genuinely a phenomenal 2-D platformer, it’s not like your usual get from point A to point B type of game it’s more like jumping into a zoo and figuring out how each animal works

The Yoshi games are fun and this one has a more unique gimmick. Your objective is to fill out an entire encyclopedia of every creature you encounter. You’ll need to experiment with the gameplay and environments in every way possible, and it makes for some good, if often repetitive, replay-ability. It is worth your time if you’re up for it.

Its a bit simple ... it's a relaxing cozy game. Its YOSHI ! ? Just go buy it.
