Mogwai's groundbreaking debut album 'Young Team', originally released in October 2007 is now reissued in February 2023, remastered and refreshed on coloured vinyl, CD and digital. Housed in a gatefold sleeve with original artwork, the sky-blue vinyl will come with a digital download code. The original recording engineer for the album, Paul Savage, whose production credits include Franz Ferdinand and The Twilight Sad, has remastered the album for this special reissue. After a brace of critically acclaimed singles and a host of incendiary live shows, there was a palpable sense of anticipation over the of Mogwai's debut long player. Young the Giant is the debut album by American indie rock band Young the Giant. The band began work on the album with Grammy-winning producer Joe Chiccarelli, engineers Lars Fox and Ian Kirkpatrick, and mixer Michael H. Brauer in early 2010. Young the Giant lead singer Sameer Gadhia described the album as having a Inchsummery, kind of an Orange County sound.Inch Songs on the album include the U.S. single InchMy BodyInch, which reached the top five of Billboard's Alternative Songs chart; InchApartmentInch, the first international single; and InchCough SyrupInch, which was originally recorded for the 2008 EP Shake My Hand when the band was known as The Jakes. The album features live track recording, which the band had never previously attempted. Drummer Francois Comtois noted that working with Chiccarelli for the sessions Inchwas incredibly intimidating, but he kicked our asses into shape.Inch Gadhia also recalled the experience InchWe were criticized in ways we had never even thought of, and were constantly pushed to reach the next level. Remastered edition of Giant Sand's 1991 album 'Ramp' with extra tracks featuring the Mad Dog sessions from earlier that same year. 'Convertino's brush-work and Burns' upright bass provide the perfect foundation for Gelb's parched voice and chaotic guitar, and guests include Rainer, Victoria Williams and country veteran Pappy Allen.
