Carcassonne has become one of our favorite family games to play. Everyone enjoys it, so we find ourselves pulling it out more-so than other games. There are many expansions to choose from for this game, which makes it changeable, adding to its replay value. I strongly recommend Carcassonne. It is best played with 3 or more players. Gameplay is usually 45 - 80 minutes.

This game is great for just two people. Me and my girlfriend play together all the time. It is also fun for 4 people at family gatherings. Nice board and wood pieces. Feels well made

This game is easy to learn and play. It sets up very fast and plays as quick as you wish. It can also play long and slow if you wish to be strategic and cutthroat.

My wife and I were introduced to the digital version of this game several years ago on xbox. When we saw it at Best Buy we had to pick it up, and it has been just as fun as we remember it. Now we play it with our 5 year old son and he loves it! It is a great game that doesn't take very long to play and is easy to learn.

This is the game that got me started on a wave of buying newer generation games. It is fun, can be quick, maybe 30 minutes. And it can be played with 2 to 5,6,7 people, etc. You connect pieces to build roads, castles, etc. and earn points for the completion of things. It's fun, addictive, and easy to learn. Highly recommended for every household.

This game is great fun for me and my GF, and also for larger get togethers. A fun strategy board game for all! Best Buy also had the best price

We bought this game for our family. We enjoy games like Catan, Ticket To Ride, and Empire Builder. All of these games involve a bit of planning and strategy, which make them a lot of fun to play because every game is different. We like that there were two expansion packs included with the game. It is best to play one or two games without the expansion packs first to get accustomed to the gameplay and strategy. The game was easy to learn with the included instructions. Each game lasts about 30 minutes, and some scoring is done as the game progresses, and some scoring is done at the conclusion of the game. We found the game interesting and engaging, and each game is unique because of the random drawing of the gameboard tiles. There is a bit of strategy and risk involved, mixed with the luck of the draw. Without the expansion packs, the game would get a bit boring after a few games. However, the expansion packs add a bit more complexity the game that can really disfavor certain strategies. While this game is not at the top of our list for these types of games, we will still play it on occasion and enjoy it.

I decided to buy this game after reading positive reviews about it, and I'm glad I did. This game is simple to learn and play, yet fun enough to play again and again, and there are tons of expansions for this game. They even have a Star Wars version.

You can play the whole thing in about 30 minutes. It is easy to learn and fun to play. Every time you play it is different, depending on the strategy the players implement

Have you ever wondered where the term meeple came from? This is the game. Place titles and meeples to achieve the highest score. Your meeples can be played as farmers, bandits, or farmers to score. This is a classic among the ever expanding world of hobby tabletop gaming. Easy enough for 10 year olds to play but strategic enough for serious adult players. A staple for anyone's game collection. The version I purchased came with two mini expansions included: the river and the abbot.

Fun game, the gameplay is faster than some other board games. The reason for not rating it 5 stars is because the instructions in the box don’t explain the game far enough in-depth.

As I've gotten back into board / card games in the last couple of years, I have wanted to try some of the "newer" games. It took a little longer (and a nice deal) to purchase Carcassonne. It only took one game to realize that Carcassonne can be simple to learn and yet provide the opportunity to strategize. Definitely replayable even if you choose to use or not use the two included mini-expansions.

There is a reason this game has sold so many copies...Fun! Its easy to get into and doesnt bog down with tons of rules. I'm more a fan of labor intensive games but this is a game everyone can enjoy and makes game night better for those who arent infl one super long game. Plus, if you feel like it, there are tons of expansions.

Wife and I really enjoy playing this game. Not many board games that are fun with only two people but this is definitely one. Haven't gotten the chance to play with more than just us two but we have a blast. Easy to understand, fun to play, and different experience every time!
