A: Hello, The unit power button would turn off both the fan and lights. If you to leave only the lights on they would need to use the light button after powering off the fan to turn the lights on. The Zephyr Breeze 2 Range Hood -- a better option
The 36 inch stainless-steel Zephyr range hood looks great and operates great. The twin fans of the Breeze 2 provide a strong exhaust function and the 2 LED lights provide more than enough light for our stove top. Only caveat is that while unpacking our first unit we noticed a dent. Best Buy replaced it with another range hood without any hesitation.

Perfect little range hood.
Full disclosure: This is not the sophisticated, high-end range hood we had originally hoped for. However, it was recommended through our Best Buy In Home consultation, and truth be told, it's exactly what we needed. Simple, yet powerful and sleek. It should be noted that unlike many brands there are no exterior brand labels that might otherwise clash with your current appliance brands.
